How to reset driver friendly names back to default values

I can tell you that any time I've deleted my interface driver and reinstalled it I've had to rename all those I/O names.  So that may be your best option.

I'm not sure if unchecking the "friendly name" box gets it done for you or not.

Open AUD.INI in a text editor and delete the entries under [AliasInput] and [AliasOutput]. CbB will restore the default <drivername>=<drivername> entries on the next launch. As always, it's a good idea to save a copy of the existing file before making changes.

Thanks for the advice.  I had a look at the file and can see the parts you are referring to.  Yes I'll make a back up before editing!
