I forgot to mention, last week I bought myself a new pair after using mine for 10 years.

What a difference a brand new pair makes!  I couldn't believe how much sound I was missing!

I was missing quite a bit of low end!  Getting a new pair made so much difference in the quality of sound!

Note: I also upgraded to the new Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 gen 4 which I had previous gen 3 solo.  I don't think the upgrade would also make any difference in quality of sound from headphones or not?

I'll try the solo gen 3 tomorrow, just in case, cause tonight I work.  And if there's a difference between the two interfaces (as far as sound), I'll update this message and tell you I've updated this message.  I highly don't think there's a difference in sound on headphones between the two interfaces. I could be wrong? I've been debating on taking back the gen 4.
