Should be able to copy & paste two files of exact size and shape from one theme to another, but this does not always work. EDIT: As described below, T.E. doesn't read the overall image size but misreads it when transparency is found. Starship Krupa Posted February 11, 2023 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I've been doing some big work using the copy and paste from one instance of TE to another and have seen no issues. Can you perhaps find a pattern in the (mis)behavior? BTW, did you know that you can copy and paste images directly from your pixel editor software? I use that one all the time. sjoens Posted February 12, 2023 Author Share Posted February 12, 2023 (edited) I did not, but after trying it I found the reason for my issue. The 2 images I couldn't copy/paste had transparent borders of differing sizes. So even tho the 2 images are equal in overall size and shape, T.E. misreads the shape if the last pixel along any side is in a different position. IOW, T.E. stops measuring the image when the last pixel is read. Both images below are 102x49 (red outline) but pixels stop at different widths: I still contend this is a bug as T.E. should read the overall dimensions of each one.
