Experiencing unusually long load times.....

Anyone else experience unusually long load times to load a project since the last couple of updates?  Even to simply open an empty project is taking 5+ minutes.  I know something's gotta be wrong with that.

Any project I have that uses a "waves" plug-in takes a long time to load.  The way I was able to speed it up was to load the waves central app before loading the project and that seemed to speed it up.

A couple of months ago I didn't have this problem, so for me it must be something to do with how the waves plug-ins are checking their licensing.

Hmm.  That's interesting.  However, I'm having this issue even just opening the empty project template from the start menu.  It's very odd.

Here's an easy check:

Start Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc) before you start CbB and click on the CPU column so it sorts high to low. Then open a project and switch to Task Manager and see if your virus scanner (or some other application) goes nuts on your CPU.
