John Allen Posted July 1, 2021 Share Posted July 1, 2021 Hi, I just installed Cakewalk by Bandlab. I am familiar with the basic controls from having used Cakewalk years ago. I ran Cakewalk 8 yesterday and it played a MIDI file. But when i play the MIDI file after installing Cakewalk from Bandlab, the bar-graph meters indicate activity but there is no audio output. The Windows volume mixer doesn't have a column for Cakewalk. Where is the roadblock? How do I fix this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And if you don’t know about important stuff like master buss I highly recommend you spend some time watching the videos to help you get started. John Allen Posted July 1, 2021 Author Share Posted July 1, 2021 It was in WASABI shared mode. I changed to WDM/KS and that did not work. Then I changed to WASABI exlusive and that worked. Changed back to WASABI shared and that worked too. Missing Audio outputs indicates that all the analog channels are available but SPDIF is not.
