  1. Are you talking about an Izotope product that's usually a paid app but that *you* got for free in a Plugin Boutique promo e.g.? Like Neutron Elements? That would still qualify - wouldn't matter if *you* didn't pay for the app so long as it's not an app that's free all day everyday, like Izotope Vinyl.
  2. Well dang, I think I'll just hang around and wait till we find it for $75 lol
  3. Yeah I'm definitely getting it. I've been stalling for a minute like I usually do before I make a decent purchase just to give myself a chance to come to my senses if necessary, or in this case find a better deal. I was actually gonna get O9A from Plugin Boutique @ $149 but then locrian mentioned a Winter2020 code from AudioDeluxe, so I went there and found the O9A deal plus this code which brought it to 132.98, so good thing I waited a second. Btw, Vienna is also having a sale on a few things and finally the Baritone Saxophone library I've been wanting forever is on sale and this Winter2020 code works for that too so I'll be picking up that and O9A there. I believe the Ozone and Vienna deals are till the end of March.
  4. Yeah this song here was enough to make me a huge fan instantly, and those are mellotron sounds. I love that 70's aesthetic too on that album cover but that's also a doom thing, a lot of modern doom bands today have that same aesthetic going.
  5. Zinc, I'm not gonna be that guy who sits here after having Googled it and pretends to have long since known about all that lol. I got into Strawbs only recently when I bought M-Tron Pro and was shopping for Streetly tapes. I play a melodic garage doom type of metal where I incorporate mellotron because I'm tired of synth sounds, but The Strawbs are exactly the kind of stuff I'm getting into with regard to use of the mellotron. Oh, and Google says he was in The Strawbs from March 1970-July 1971 👨‍💻
  6. Yeah. But it's like w/ people who buy vst synths even though they already have many; they could probably recreate whatever sound has gotten them interested in the new synth, but this new synth already has that sound ready to go, so.
  7. Can't someone just get one of those little usb port extension things or whatever they're called that plug into a USB port and dangle there and provide a few more USB ports on it? The thing with that though is that everything that plugs in to those extension ports all ultimately share a single port and perhaps that can be problematic for some devices, but not everything I don't think. Like I currently have one of those little USB extensions that has about four extra USB ports dangling off of it and that's how I plug in my keyboard and mouse and occasionally my phone and camera, so those types of devices would probably be fine sharing a single USB port and you could conserve ports that way, as a dongle (and a real finicky midi device like the Korg Nanos) should probably be given its own dedicated USB port. Anyway @Matthew Sorrels makes a good point that I hate to have to think about lol but in my case anyway I'm being forced to buy a dongle to use this Vienna Baritone Saxophone library I'm picking up, so I'll have a dongle to back up all my other stuff. They cost like $30 too
  8. That one has a great chorus though. Btw, The Misfits had tried to recruit this guy as their lead singer. He turned them down to do this.
  9. Idk.. what are you doing with your Friday afternoon lunch break?
  10. Yet I can't stop watching it. The guy actually has a decent voice though. His eyes.
  11. There it is folks. If Larry says so, it is so. I had an ad on kvr trying to score O9A for $125 but I'll just grab this and consider it a win (you know that Game of the Deal I'm always carrying on about and appear to be the only one playing lol) Btw, anyone notice how I got a deal in past Larry? Anyone? No 🤣 I didn't see the deal for MPS.. what's that going for? O9A is all I cared about anyway but yeah
  12. Yeah I don't know why they often list supported hosts like this when it's a VST like any other
  13. That reverb? Looks cool. I've got Valhalla Vintage and Room plus those free verbs we all got recently but
  14. Or the Trash 2 I bought off that one promo for $8.88 recently that I fogort install lol
  15. If you don't stay till around the 3:00 mark you won't get the big pay off. You just won't.
  16. If anyone else may be in the market for O9A, and you currently don't have any Ozone products, with this Winter2020 code at AudioDeluxe you get Ozone 9 Advanced for $132.98 if you happen to own any paid Izotope product. Thanks @locrian for the heads up. If you got one of those "Elements" products as a free promo from a Plugin Boutique purchase some time ago that would work. https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plug-ins/izotope-ozone-9-advanced-crossgrade-any-paid-izotope-product-including
  17. Tempting, but I just bought M-Tron Pro recently and I already have Newmello 1 and 2. I guess 3 isn't available on its own though I'm also not seeing a Newmello 3
  18. Of course Abbey Road Studio 3 is excluded from this deal and that's all I really wanted. Ovox looks kinda cool but probably the Eventide Quadravox we all got free recently can do this more or less
  19. I have to assume they're either developing new separate products or working on a Soundtoys 6. They can't just be like "Soundtoys 5 y'all and we're good"

    PA Survey

All I can really think to want from PA is to get rid of the minimum spend on the codes but of course they just got done shaming us on how we were abusing the codes and their system and all that so that ain't happening
  21. Thanks man yeah I saw yesterday it's the same, $149 for O9A on Izotope site. Plus tax, unlike Plugin Boutique.
  22. https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/5737-Ozone-9-Advanced-Crossgrade-from-ANY-paid-iZotope-product-including-Exponential-Audio-products Is $149 for Ozone 9 Advanced a good deal if you have no Ozone products or is it worth waiting for an even better deal than that? You probably already posted this somewhere but on Plugin Boutique right now people can crossgrade up to O9A from any Izotope product for $149. That includes a Necter or Neutron elements that you got free way back w/ some Plugin Boutique purchase, or evidently even the Trash 2 I bought recently for $8.88.
