  1. https://www.airmusictech.com/cloud? They either give these instruments away, sell them for peanuts, or sell all of them for $50. And then they think people will pay up to $19.99 a month for the same stuff? Who is the market for this?
  2. I've thought about it and I think I will let this go. I don't really use loops much. It would probably just sit on my hard drive, with my other zillion loops. The thing that would interest me more would be the Omnisphere version of Celtic, which is currently only $17. I will wait to see what it costs the next time Time+Space offers me a coupon. For the moment, I'd rather take this $35 and put it towards an instrument like Indiginus's Lap Steel for $49 that I know I will get a lot of use out of.
  3. Good. I sent them a letter with a link to this page and they said it DID include the Wav files. So if I do buy it, I guess they will include the link. My main curiosity about this package is that, because only half of it is wav files, what kind of quality are they? Is this just a lot of really old stuff? Also, I got the Zero-G Ethnic Flavours as a freebie with another library. And it was basically useless because of how poorly organized and labeled the files were. Using the PDF, I took a lot of time creating folders and dragging files into them, so I knew what everything was. That's time-consuming for one library, but if all these libraries are like that, it's something I know I won't ever do. I find the best way to use these kinds of loop libraries is to drag them into Kontakt and make NKIs out of the stuff that interests me the most. If you explore these libraries before the sale ends, I'd love to hear what you have to say about them.
  4. For those who are picking this up or already have it, NKS functionality has just been added by Freelance Soundlabs You can download a free demo to see how it works on your computer. It will turn up in the user section, not the regular spot, but you'll see the pictures, the knobs will be assigned, and there will be sounds for all the presets. No light guides, though. Price is $12.99 Australian, which is $8.76 in US dollars. Learn more HERE. I have Freelance Soundlab templates for Omnisphere, Keyscape, World Suite, and a few others. I find they add a lot of value. If NKS functionality means something to you, they are worth checking out.
  5. Wow, that really sucks. It's very clear on the page that it is supposed to include the Waves. I've already been in touch with them about how much of Celtic is included (apparently almost all) so I will write too.
  6. Zero-G sales are usually not my thing, as I'm rarely interested in loops, but I am very interested in World Music. And the truth is that Ethnoworld and World Suite each come with a lot of loops, and they are extremely useful, as they show how the instruments are meant to be played. This is over 5900 loops in Apple Loop and Acidized Wave formats. Over 5 GB, but obviously it will be half that, for whatever format you use. Get the World Pack HERE This is only available for the next three days or so. A close reading of the description shows that this is not a collection of the libraries they mention, but a curated selection. Afrolatin Slam (African, Latin, and Afro-Latin fusion loops). Celtic (Loops of celtic instrument performances from Ireland, Scotland, etc). Deepest India (Superb, evocative and inspiring instrument/ vocal/ ensemble loops from India). Ethnic Volume 1 (A diverse selection of 'world' loops from many countries and cultures). Ethnic Volume 2 (A diverse selection of 'world' loops from many countries and cultures). Flamenco Sounds (The world's finest library of Spanish Flamenco loops). Middle Eastern Sounds (A brand new varied collection of loops from North Africa and the Middle East). Sounds Of Polynesia (A wonderful library of loops from the South Pacific islands and Australia). Pure Brazilian Beats (An incredible collection of Latin rhythms with an infectious feel). Pure Tabla (An unbelievable range of sonic beats created entirely with tabla drums!). Tribal Elements (A brand new diverse library of samples from across the African continent). Vindaloops (Wonderfully expressive and expertly played Bhangra loops)
  7. I think the best solo voice from 8Dio is Jenifer, which is reflected in its higher price tag. Unlike most of their stuff, it stands up well to the female solo vocal libraries from other companies. If the big NI sale on Soundiron vocal libraries wasn't on now, I would seriously be considering buying it. If I buy the Soundiron package, I'm going to feel like my hands are more than full with female vocals.
  8. The sale isn't store-wide and not everything that's on sale is a full 40% off, but if you've had your eye on their stuff, it's worth checking out. https://www.strezov-sampling.com/
  9. I know I say this all the time, but I am waiting for Total Studio 3 to come out and go on sale. I’ve let Modo Bass, Modo Drum, Sampletank 4, Syntronik Deluxe, tons of Amplitude plugins, etc. etc go by. I’m waiting for the big deal on the whole thing. I just don’t see this as much of a deal in the big picture of buying IK products.
  10. I'm waiting until Black Friday to decide if I will upgrade to Vegas Pro 17. Note that some of the new features are only in the more expensive Suite, not in the regular Vegas Pro. Last year on BF there wasn't a huge discount on the Vegas Pro upgrade, but there were more plugins with it. If you like getting more filters, transitions, etc., then it's worth waiting,
  11. Or 40% off in the December Wish List?
  12. Aren't the foreign transaction fees just for sellers and not for buyers? I have Paypal deduct from my bank account, not my credit card. I've never had the impression that I paid one cent more than the displayed price when I buy something. That is to say, looking up how much the price is in euros, I pay that amount in dollars. No extra fee beyond that. On the other hand, when I sell something on ebay or Reverb.com, Paypal charges me processing fees and currency conversion fees. Maybe I'm missing something.
  13. I'm not sure what you mean. The iZotope Portal is just a downloader like Native Access. You don't have to buy directly from iZotope to use it. I bought the Upgrade to the Music Production Suite at AudioDeluxe and they sent me a serial number. I input the serial number into the iZotope Portal and downloaded everything. I wish IK Multimedia could come up with a system as easy to use as the downloaders from iZotope, Native Instruments, Output, Addictive Drums, etc.
  14. Set the preset, "Cryin." Use one finger or sometimes two to play legato. No key switches. Forget about everything and play. If you want to work in your DAW afterwards to add other articulations (harmonics, etc) and effects, it's easy to do.
  15. It was $149 list price to go from Neutron 2 to Neutron 3. Even though I have RX7 and 08N2, this is quite a deal, to also get Nectar 3, Vocalsynth 2, Insight 2 and Relay for the same price. All that for $125!
  16. Some great deals here, including the entire Fluffy Woodwinds Bundle for $189. Dominus Choir, Rinascimento, even a modest discount on the new Venice Modern Strings library. Check out the deals HERE.
  17. Well done Larry! Thanks for sharing that! Maybe we should have a thread with other members of this forum could present their work....🙂
  18. I am convinced everything from Waves--whether$199 or more--will go for $29 ($26 to us) at some point. And in some cases lower during a flash sale.
  19. Based on this, I don't want to know what is bundled in the "All in One Bundle." 😱
  20. Umm... Scheps has sold before for $29 ($25 at discount stores.) And will sell again at $29. Repeatedly. IMHO, this is not a deal. This is a way to get you to buy three specific plugins for no discount. Each plugin which you can buy for $25 if you are a little bit patient, perhaps with better deals attached.
  21. A nice deal. I love this library.
