I've been collecting those Hall of Fame reverbs during BS sales over the years and they are really good. They were never freebies--you had to buy something. The difference here is they don't give you as many choices as they normally do. A few more observations. It is a two-part engine, not just ensembles--low and high strings. You can crossfade between them. The Style listed below is "Medium Section Staccato - Chords Inversions" That suggests how the Styles might work. And the presets will be based on the Styles, but with different presets. There is a Finisher in the middle. The current one is "Nice Boost." ( So you'll have a few multi-effects algorithms to make quick changes. This looks like it will be a lot more than an ostinato engine. A new take on it for sure. Also note that it is listed as "by Boris Salchow."

I like their ToneSpot series. The Express ones are a good deal at $19 each. They are just the presets from the Pro Versions with all the controls. What I don't like is if you like the express versions and want to up the Pro, they make you pay full price. I'm going to check in with them about that again and see if it's still true.

The only thing about deals like this is I forget about them and then suddenly there's a bill. It just happened a week ago and I haven't updated. So maybe some change I made in my project setup? But the file has the same settings as the video. The video loads fine, it just plays haltingly, which makes it useless. I had to just play the video in a loop on the side for general inspiration. I'm going to need to spend some time with Mixbus, which I don't have at the moment, between doing my TTF thread, making videos, and buying stuff I don't need.

Yes, I never had a problem with it before. Eventually I need to get some help sorting the problem out. I should contact them. I love cubase but sometimes you just need to get a job done in a hurry.

I never had much curiosity about this, but lately, for some unknown reason, Cubase is giving me trouble playing my videos. So I've been composing my cues blind, which sucks. If this can make it easier for me to compose my video cues, that will make it well worth the $19. And I'm sure there are many other advantages too. What do you think are the biggest advantages of Mixbus?
