  1. Hi Everyone, I installed Pentagon I (only) from my X3 installation, but it doesn't show up in either Cakewalk or SPLAT (x64). I've done a net search and found threads on the Registry hack (giving permission to users for Pentagon I), but haven't had any success. Also installed Project 5 v2 and can use Pentagon from there, but can't rewire P5 into CbB or SPLAT (due to the 64bit limitation, IIRC). Only thing is I can't figure out how to use Pentagon I as a vocoder in P5. I read that some users have been able to use Pentagon I in SPLAT. Does anyone know of a way to get Pentagon I to show up and work in CbB or SPLAT beyond the registry hack? Any suggestion or solution would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, tecknot
  2. Terribly sorry about that, Mark. That would be a good feature request and I am certain it would not be the first on the matter. tecknot
  3. Thanks for helping me out, John. I really appreciate it! Kind regards, tecknot
  4. I believe scroll lock will do the trick. However, this may have been a feature in older versions of SONAR. Sorry I cannot confirm at this time, but it's worth a shot. Kind regards, tecknot
  5. There are two very distinctive differences between downloading CbB from BandLab Assistant and a link to a file sharing website. As I stated previously, I am using someone else's PC for internet access at their home and cannot install any application on it. I did not intend to get into any debates when starting this thread, merely, to obtain a copy of the latest CbB release. Hopefully that clarifies my situation for you. Kind regards, tecknot
  6. Now back to my original request... Is anyone willing and able to send me a copy of latest update of CbB? I would honestly appreciate it. As for other replies suggesting that CbB cannot be installed offline, that is simply not true. I have installed updates offline and, of course that being so, I was not logged onto BandLab or BandLab Assistant. You only need BL Assist to download the updates, not to install. (I am not talking about authorization which is moot. I only want to have a copy of the latest update to keep my library of updates complete. Most users are aware that a copy can be saved to a drive prior to completion of installation.) Kind regards, tecknot
  7. I have CbB already on my DAW which is not connected to a network/internet, so I don't need to authorize the new update install. My problem is that I don't have access to the internet now that my laptop is dust. At this moment, I am using a PC at someone else's house for intermittent web access. So, this is not my machine and I don't have permission to install programs on it. Can either of you do me a solid and send me a copy of 2019.01? I am not nefarious, this is a real situation until I can purchase a new laptop, but that will take a little time. I don't understand any hesitation to help me with my request. Chuck E., you've always been very helpful without any prejudice, can you help me out? I would sincerely appreciate it. I just don't want to miss any updates in the event it would be the last workable update for me. Please take great consideration to my circumstances. Thank you in advance. Kind regards, tecknot
  8. Anyone with a copy of the current release of CbB 2019.01, can you please send me a copy? I don't have access to BandLab Assistant due to my dead laptop. I don't have any other means to access the net except to borrow a little time from a friend. I would be forever grateful. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, tecknot
  9. Why can't we just get the BandLab log-in window instead of a window with a link to the BandLab sign-in? I really am trying to conserve my left mouse clicks. Kind regards, tecknot
  10. Good morning all, My laptop went belly-up and now I don't have any means to access CbB updates. I am borrowing a machine to access the net, but I cannot download and install BandLab Assistant for the updates. Does anyone have a copy of the latest update I may utilize? I would greatly appreciate it. BandLab, please make updates available as direct downloads the way Cakewalk has always made them available to users and please make older updates available to users also. That way I can access updates without having to download and install additional software and/or wait until I replace my laptop and have personal internet access. Thanks in advance Kind regards, tecknot
  11. I am with you, Chris. Unfortunately, we only have one alternative and that is to change audio file/clip names manually (after material is recorded or added to project). I sure wish we could set a naming scheme for clips in a projects. Perhaps this could be one of the many feature requests submitted to Cakewalk/BandLab. Kind regards, tecknot
  12. If you want to see the Browser to be collapsed when opening a new or existing project, unlock the offending ScreenSet and collapse the Browser. Then lock the ScreenSet and SAVE the project or template (or save as a new template). I went back and forth on this myself but it wasn't until I save the project/template did it stick. Kind regards, tecknot
