  1. I got Cluster Flux free on Plugin Boutique and paid $107 for all the others on the ADSR sale. Specifically the Ring Mod was $15, only $5 more compared to this sale. So... no regrets yet 🙂. And the plugins are all very good anyway.
  2. I don't have those but IMO Dreamsynth and Eight Voice sound decent too. Regarding Elka-X I'd choose the Xils alternatives Synthix and even miniSyn'X (I had problems with this last one but probably caused by my old Creamware soundcard driver. Now I use RME cards and it works fine). These are more expensive but I've seen miniSyn'X on sale for a similar low price some times. I'll get Elka-X to get a better price on the next synth stack, due near the end of year (probably).
  3. It's a good deal, no doubt. My question is about the cost to keep it later. If instead of a big pack we had all the individual plugins in our account we could choose which ones to upgrade when desired. And, eventually, WUP the whole lot to benefit from the $240 cap. By having all plugins in a big collection we loose this option. I have a lot of plugins from waves (from v9 to v14) but this Scheps v2 was the first time I WUPed anything. I know that there are many plugins included in Mercury for free but this only works until the next major version release. And then you're stuck in the situation I'm describing. Anyway... by now I'm staying with what I have. YMMV.
  4. I may be wrong but I have the impression that it is better to keep smaller collections and individual plugins instead of Mercury. For example: I recently WUPed my Scheps Omni channel and got the new v2 for $13. If I had Mercury not WUPed in v13 or less I'd have to pay $240 or buy this plugin again to get it for cheap.
  5. My upgrade is $400 and adds 39 plugins. There are some six I'd like and I'll eventually get, there are some I already have (???) and the rest I don't care about. Definitely a no-go for me, even with the discount.
  6. Super dupper THANK YOU 🥳 Here's the tip!!!!
  7. Any generic $25 voucher still available to use with this?
  8. Ditto. I have all the previous smart: true: and pure: plugins and my offer is €41. They are my favorite mixing tools currently but I'll wait for a better price this time.
  9. Ops.... I forgot that possibility. Sorry 😇
  10. I corrected that for you 😀 I have v1 not WUPed. The WUP for it is $13.41 and it already shows v2 in the list.
  11. Every Cherry Audio synth I have I bought directly from CA at promo release prices. And as I said I keep expanding my Voltage Modular collection. And I'm sure that the price rising for new synth releases reflects the cost to produce quality stuff. But for most of their new releases there is good competition from Arturia, GForce, uHe, Korg, Roland, etc and I have most of this other collections. So unless they drop this prices in the future I'll stay with my current stuff. I already paid a lot for them and I see no point in buying alternative versions when what I have is already good enough. Well... unless it's cheap. And solely because I love synths. The only CA releases I sometimes think about purchasing are the original designs like Sines for example. Maybe I'll get this on a sale outside the collection. As I said... no hush.
  12. The last synth I got from them was the Dreamsynth (and a very good one is this BTW). From some time now I'm just expanding my Voltage Modular system with excellent new modules from Cherry, BFD and other manufacturers. For closed architecture synths I have plenty of alternatives and I'm glad with them. But if I ever get a really god price on the latest synth stack I'll probably upgrade. But it must be way lower than my last $100 offer or, at least, include a bigger number of new synths. Unhurried.
  13. Got it! Forever 29 keeps delivering!!!
  14. Confirmed! I received the thanks code and I can combine it with SAVE25 and UALURKER4LIFE. So I can get a $44 plug for $9 (-79%) or $59 plug for $24 (-59%) and so on... Unfortunately not much to choose in the cheaper category.
  15. I never bought anything from UAD. If I get this $25 thanks coupon can I combine it with the SAVE25 and UALURKER4LIFE to purchase Hitsville reverb chamber (currently at $99) for $39? BTW... can I use the UALURKER4LIFE more than one time? There's this Polymax synth but it looks too much bread & butter and redundant for me having uHe, Xils, Softube, Arturia, Roland Cloud etc synthesizers (not counting a lot of analog and VA HW synths I have with similar architecture).
  16. I found the coupon UALURKER4LIFE that drops $10 from any purchase. So the Opal synth drops to $49. There's also a SAVE25 coupon active (that can be combined) that gives another $25 discount but it only applies when the shopping cart is $99 or more. You can get one of the $44 plugins and, with both coupon, drop the basket to $68 (or get another $59 plugin and pay $83 for both), but then this purchase starts to go to the expensive side IMO. Anyway... I already decided to get Opal for $49. The deadline is Jul-17 as I said so plenty of time to think about this.
  17. I only got one of these Elements packs once and it was free (El 8... not sure). I always had the impression that these downgraded packs from iZotope are near to useless! Save your money... wait for sales and at least get the standard packs. YMMV
  18. Twin 3 = €‎129 Reveal Spire = $189 As I said... Opal=$59 Right now... no competition!
  19. I was not looking for anything in particular and stumbled upon this sale. Indeed, I'm not looking for compressors, eqs or anything like that. Even synths... and I'm usually freak about'em, So the emulation of classic synths like minimoog and the like... I pass! But this Opal synth looks very interesting. An original design with wavetables and great sounding va filters. Resembles Serum, but I never cared for this one as it's too much EDM oriented to my taste (and never saw it for a good price). But the Opal synth is on sale for $59 until Jul-17. I'll check further but I'll probably bite.
  20. I have almost everything from PA and I'm getting the latest releases using the F29 codes. If they stop the sub I'll probably end up saving some money.
  21. I'm not bugging anyone. I just said I'll not pay again for what is, essentially, the same product.
  22. IMO the new licensing scheme is much better. I never hated dongles, specially because they allow you to move/reinstall your purchased software at will, without worrying about activating/deactivating and formatting drives, etc. I have lost some licenses in the past because of HD failure. But even dongles can break. With the new Steinberg licensing you can deactivate a device even if you don't have access to it. The video bellow talks about this. And, BTW, this channel is a good source of information and news about Cubase.
  23. I already paid for a lifetime Platinum so as much as I like Sonar I'll not pay for it again (unless it is suuuuper cheap!). I got the Cubase crossgrade when Gibson abandoned Sonar and I'm keeping my license current. I guess it's time to put away my laziness and learn a new daw. I was postponing this 'case CbB is so nice to use. Anyway... I also have Live v9. If I have to spend some money in another daw maybe I'll finally get the latest version of Live (that I also like but for different reasons). I also got Studio One up to v4.5 but this One I didn't liked as much as the others I mentioned.
  24. Groove3 has some tutorials on the older Sonar Platinum still relevant IMO.
