Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I believe all of those items could be had at the $199 level. If you already bought anything for $99 or higher, that unlocks the crossgrade pricing.

Full MSRP for Hammond B-3X and MODO Drum is $199, and CROSSGRADE to MODO Bass  and MixBox is $199.

However, Miroslav 2  CROSSGRADE is $299. The T-RacksS 5 MAX CROSSGRADE is the same as T-RackS 5 Deluxe full MSRP at  $299.

I cannot check the available freebies for the $199 or $299 levels, because my highest level reached is $149.

I was able to get Miroslav 2 crossgrade with my UNO Drum. T-racks MAX is apparently not part of the GB. Deluxe is available for me (which I might get despite the various doubles, but that is the price I pay for not listening to Larry and wait it out). I'm a bit lost.

Interesting. The only thing that I can think of is that the MSRP is $299.00 but IKM is now selling it for $249.99. To be honest, there are not that many freebies at the $299 level.

True, but still 2 (Miroslav Philharmonik 2 and T-RackS 5 Deluxe).

  3. Ah right that makes a bit more sense then.

The GB does not accumulate. Buying in twice gets you two entries at the $99 level but does not unlock anything at the $199 level. Your UNO drum now qualifies you for $299 level so you can now get AmpliTube 5.

Also, when Peter says that you qualify for AmpliTube 5 Upgrade from any 99.99+ product, the upgrade price is not $99. It is $199 (I think). It is what I stated before, any $99+ purchase qualifies you for the crossgrade/upgrade price of any IKM product.

I know it doesn't accumulate. but this makes a bit more sense. So you can qualify because you have a 99 product, but the upgrade price can be as high as IK makes it and that is unlocked for me.

Still weird that my entry level is higher than the MSRP. Better claim some 299 freebies while I can.

    1. As stated, T-RackS 5 MAX is not part of this group buy.  But also, UNO Drum is 249.99 MSRP so it should be opening that level.

    2. You qualify for AmpliTube 5 Upgrade from any 99.99+ product.  Same with other crossgrade options.  CE/SE versions are completely separate versions so if you have the option for the full/crossgrade you should go for that version of a product as you'd get more.

Hmm that is weird, because the Amplitude 5 upgrade was never in mijn Promotions dropdown. And I have 2 99.99+ products. Same goes for the other upgrades. (Yeah I did get the CE versions with a lower buy in but now I'm getting the bigger versions with my new buy-in, I should have listened to Larry to wait it out).

Also, (and I'm too lazy to make a screenshot, so 'dude, trust me'), this is what my promotions tab says:

"Your UNO Drum purchase allows you to redeem bonus content from this dropdown list, valued at $/€299.99 or less! "

  5. I got my UNO Drum today. Of course I will need other cables than I have lying around, so I haven't had a change to try it out. But I did register it and it shows up in my Promotions tab as a 299 product. Which is very nice. That would qualify me for, let's say T-Racks 5 MAX. But it is not part of the dropdown.

So 2 questions for @Peter - IK Multimedia:

1 Is the 299 correct? Because that would give me TR5 Max which I cannot select.

2 There are a lot of confusing names in the dropdown now: I have Amplitude 5SE and I see an Amplitude 5 upgrade. That seems pretty straightforward. But when I get to MODO bass and Drums (I have SE) I have the options MODO Bass / drums (just that) or the crossgrade. Does it matter which I choose? Same for Sampletank 4. I have SE and I can choose 4 or 4 upgrade. Same goes for Miroslav Philharmonik 2. I have SE and can select MP2 crossgrade. Which is in the 299 category so why isn't TR5 Max an option?

Sorry if it seems incoherent, I've had a long day...

  6. For anyone wondering what to get, it has been advertised here but since this is a new topic I'm gonna do it again: get the Sunset Sound Studio Reverb!

I used it today on a backing track with a lot of soul sounds mixed in with some modern synts, and it glued the whole shabang together beautifully. It did something other reverbs I tried couldn't.

  7. Alright, I really didn't wanted to comment any more on the matter, but I feel like adding a last comment since I was the cause.

The mod is entirely in his right to close the topic. And I have no issue with him and him doing so. Rules are rules, wether you know them all or not. I clearly didn't, and that is on me.

I feel some hostility growing here, so can we please just close this one too and get on with the show? Rutte!

  8. Monday I will get my UNO Drum. Ddecided I have enough synths to not get the UNO Synth, but my live jamming setup lacked a drumcomputer and I was not willing to spend more than 700 on a Digitakt. Than, with my previous buy-ins I will be able to get almost everything IK.

This is really an amazing deal.

Just a suggestion to the mods for the future. Why not simply delete the post itself? Another forum I frequent does that. They won't kill the whole thread over some random left field comment. They just delete ONLY the post that didn't fit.

Or just ask me to modify it, I would have been happy to do so.

well that blows. I bet it was some guy from KVR sent here to lock the thread so they can beat us.

Nope, it was me. I have to learn that I have to "leave political comments out of music discussions". I guess well known memes mentioning some former politician from years ago qualify.

I'm inclined to mention a former prime minister of the Netherlands in this post to see if that will lock this thread too, but I'm not one to stir the pot.

And as it seems necessary, this last sentence in no way a reference to a former leader of Cambodia with that name.

I'll stick to not making jokes. Sorry guys. I didn't know.

We actually only need about 6/hour to make the goal. In the last 8 hours, it has been 16/hour. So unless someone turns off the lights and we all go home, we can party on.

I already had a power outage for several hours today. Please leave my lights alone

I am not Peter (obviously), but you would qualify for Amplitude 5 and Sampletank 4. I bought Amp5 for $199 and was able to pick up Sampletank 4, Sampletron 2, Modo Drum, Hammond B-3X, etc at the crossgrade price, even though the MSRP was above $199.

Thanks! That puts my mind at ease.

If you buy in at the $199 level, you will only see freebies priced at $199 and lower in the Promotions. All freebie crossgrades at $199 should be available.

Best to check with Peter as to what is and is not available at crossgrade pricing in the promotions.

@Peter - IK Multimedia Do you have an answer? Would there be a 199 crossgrade as a freebie available, or is it only the MSRP in the freebies? So would a UNO synth qualify me for Amplitude 5 or Sampletank 4 or will I fall short?

  14. 58 minutes ago, abacab said:

IK does not have "upgrade" prices. However, if you already own an IK product with an MSRP of $99 or above, you will see "crossgrade" pricing for certain items at $199.

If you bought a "crossgrade" for $199, you would enter the GB at the $199 level, not the full price.

Thanks for clearing that up. However, I think I perhaps misworded it. What I meant was: if I enter the GB again at the 199 level with buying a synth (or any other 199 product for that matter), will the freebies which will be available to me be at the 199 level before or after the crossgrade option? So for example, will the UNO synth get me Amplitude 5 (for 199, because that's my crossgradfe price) or will the  'freebie price' in the Promotions tab be the 299 (the MSRP) and thus it will not be available to me because I bought in at 199?

UNO Synth MSRP is $/€199.99 so you'd qualify at that level with UNO Synth.

Right, one more stupid question, just to not spend €160 and end up without the goal I have in mind. When I'm NOT logged in, the price of let's say Amplitude 5 is 299. When I'm logged in, it's 199 (probably because I own other products and this is my upgrade?). Same principle goes for ST4 and Hammond.

If I were to buy the UNO synth (or drums), would that MSRP of 199 (or 249) qualify me for Amplitude 5 at 199, OR does the normal MSRP price of 299 still hold up and wouldn't I be able to select it as a freebie?

  16. This is my greed talking, but.....with the new additions to the GB. What if I buy the UNO synth? But not from IK website because that would set me back 240 incl tax. I would order from Thomann where it would cost me 159 incl tax.

That would give me a 159 hardware synth and a buy-in in de GB at the 199 level right? Or should the hardware have be bought from IK directly?

  17. 12 to go.

And I just want to add that I hate IK Multimedia and Peter. Because of this sale, I hád to choose plugins I wouldn't normally pick; amps. And because I didn't have a good use for it, I had to buy an electrtic guitar. So now I have that, but I can't play. Are there any guitar lessons in this group buy?

  18. I guess it would be nice if I could select an upgrade as a freebie. Meaning, I have Sampletank SE, Amplitude SE and MODO bass SE, and the price difference  is in most cases just 50 for the normal version. OK Sampletank a bit more. But I haven't seen the option.
