    As a workaround, you can right-click the parameter and choose Automation Snapshot to create an envelope for that parameter. Then double-click the envelope with the Smart Tool to switch to automation editing for that parameter. -- Scott R.     Wow, thanks very much for this link @cclarry! This is basically a virtual Roland JX-8P. That was my very first keyboard. I love that machine and I actually still have it, but the keys don't work so I've kept it in storage until I can find time to possibly fix it.
