  1. Wookie, thanks for your furry ears! You may have heard this song several years ago before I made the video. If it sounds OK on your Adams, then I'm happy.
  2. Mark, thank you for taking the time to listen and reply. I like your idea about using the ending for a new song. I'll get to work on that as soon as it warms up a bit in my basement. It's cold here in Kansas City. Thanks a million, Bjorn! Hopefully, we keep getting better along the way! I'm just trying to keep up with the rest of you talented songwriters.
  3. Make sure the bus f/x box is enabled in the export menu, and make sure your bus is selected, too.
  4. Thank you so much! I'm happy to please. You've said it all. Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment! Douglas, this means a lot, coming from you! Keep up your good work! Tom, I hope my tongue didn't completely come through my cheek Thank you for your time!
  5. I merely raised a glass at the bar Thank you very much, Steve! I was thinking of you when I made this video. Jack, thank you for your time and nice comment, especially in regards to the DB remark. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
  6. Nigel, thanks so much for the encouraging words. Your own videos have helped to inspire me to do more! Best of luck with your new album.
  7. Rex, I've heard a number of your tunes, and your vocals are among some of the best recorded vocals around, so I doubt you can blame your mic. Hopefully, the new audio interface will solve your problems. I'll be curious to hear what you have to say when it arrives.
  8. Thank you kindly, Daryl. This was worth the wait for me. Thanks, David, for the kind words. I got lucky finding that old footage of early flight. As for the gravitas statement, it compels me to do the "Weird Al" version of "Defying Gravitas"
  9. Hello to all my CW friends! I just completed a new video to a song that I posted here a few years ago. To keep it all fresh, I remixed the song with some of my new tools to give it a fresh spin. I combined stock video footage with some self-filmed sections to give it a home-grown touch. I hope you enjoy the subtle humor about getting older. I'm still open to suggestions, so I welcome your input. Thanks in advance for your time. It can be found here:
  10. CLASSIC! You are one brilliant wordsmith with a twisted sense of humor. The vocals really stand out in this, but so does everything else. Go FM!
  11. I wish! Steve, thank you so much. FF is maybe my favorite band, at the moment.
  12. I always look forward to hearing your newest recordings, and I'm never disappointed. Your use of TH-U is having an influence on me, as I've started mine more and more. Don't let up, and stay healthy!
  13. You two go together like bread and butter. I really like this song, and had to listen to it several times just to let it sink in. I hope you do it more often!
  14. This is what a marriage between reggae and rock-a-billy sounds like. I love the lyrics and guitar solo, in this classic "Freddy" song. You may well be the poet laureate of this site!
  15. Daryl, I'm really impressed and excited by how this turned out! You took the music that I gave you and dressed it up, wrote words that have meaning in these times, and made sense of this. Your voice has a touch of David Gilmour which adds something special to this project. Thank you for thinking of me!
  16. Wow! The song and video are top notch. You guys are good role models!
  17. This is one of the best things I've heard from you, and it cheers me up! You have such a sophisticated library of sounds and the knowledge of how to use them, and it just gets better each time. It makes me want to go back to the drawing board

    I'm just jealous...
  19. Tim, I love this version of an all time classic. The only thing that caught my attention was that the dynamics are all over the place, but that could just be the mood I'm in. I'll listen later, but I like this.
  20. This is so different that I'll go to bed happy tonight! A good example of art vs. commercialism. Thanks for putting up the lyrics, they're very interesting. I'll be listening some more.
  21. What's not to like? Mellow, smooth jazz with a haunting melody and beautiful arrangement make for a very tranquil piece of music. Brilliant!

You're off to a good start, and the song is already catchy. I'm sure you'll dial this in and make this a gem!
  23. I'm glad I heard this before it went away. Better than ever!
  24. You have a way of owning your covers, and this is no exception. Very well done!
