there is a slate version to be included in their subscription. There is said to be an upgrade from the Slate version to the full, but I can't imagine it will be less than $59 from version 3.

Should be. It's the same samples and the engine Accent is developed by Platinum Samples themselves.

FYI Accent is also updated to 1,3,10. Not sure of all the changes but the mixer looks better, can resize the plugin horizontally plus the groove window looks better. These drums do sound great and now you don't need BFD to get them.
