  1. I'll just set up your free MIDI controller over here and use it to trigger the post bumps instead of sending it to you
  2. I was going to say, if anybody knows Larry isn't doing some blanket "promotion" or is hiding his feelings about any company or product it would be me. His criticism can be worded firmly at times (not just with regard to IK) but also is typically quite fair criticism. Especially because he and everybody else is entitled to their opinion and I think he expresses his enough to not have to have some disclaimer or "my thoughts on this deal" with every deal (or even the ones he's not fond of). The resulting discussion usually takes care of the general vibe people have toward the deal or company, and Larry will jump in with his thoughts where he feels appropriate from what I can see. I'm a fan of Larry and what he does here, even if he just has to post all those other deals which make ours fall down further on the page 'Tis life and I must accept this when there is a sea of deals to be had.
  3. 7 days to go and we don't plan to extend the T-RackS Group Buy again, just FYI
  4. We will definitely be more specific in the coming days, there's more news coming down the line.
  5. But do they or are they (other tone modeling tools) going to have tone models of **redacted** available or do you have access to **redacted**
  6. We're working on the M1 update for T-RackS 5 first so that's coming before any full version release.
  7. That and the M1 native version of T-RackS coming to v5 are things I'm VERY happy about. I wasn't the only one making noise about either of these things, though, I hope I didn't give that impression. Either way, forward motion and all, good to see.
  8. Free choices from group buys are eligible now. Something I and a couple others here really pushed for and got the team to implement. For example, those who own T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb qualify for the 9.99 upgrade (vs 49.99) MixBox Sunset Sound modules. Do they get it right every time? No. But I also now take part in a regular meeting with the lead of the team that sets up the eligibility and the reminders are not so gentle any more so I hope this gets squared away to be right each time, every time, from the go.
  9. I'm sorry, we hope you feel a deal is worthwhile for you, not feeling it is diluted because someone else can get the same or similar deal. Note that for our loyal customers you do have the advantage of the JamPoints accrued from said previous purchases.
  10. There is a promotion going on where Miroslav Philharmonik 2 is at its lowest price and the pricing is the same for all. Your upgrade would normally have been 299.99 so 35+99.99 is still far below that. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/?id=MiroslavLowPrice2022
  11. You wanted less confusing pricing... This is 79.99, runs in SampleTank 4 (including the free CS version) and you can get up to 30% off additionally using our JamPoints loyalty program. Thanks!
  12. We're nearing the end of this Group Buy and had a good rush recently but let's keep it going, with a good bump and reason I can help get this extended. But if we don't, this is the best time to get Joe Chiccarelli Vocal Strip and get a bunch more (now 33 for the price of 1) https://www.ikmultimedia.com/trgb2022
  13. The current price for MODO BASS 2 is 299.99 (full) and will go up August 1). Crossgrade is 199.99 and upgrade is 149.99. Those will also increase.
  14. *sends link to CEO* I'll take it! I'd like to think I'm both. Thanks! I do agree that there are things that should be smoother and I'm working on making sure that happens. I'm not the only one, so I'll happily carve out that doubled salary amongst the advocates you all have on board over here Fair constructive point(s) there and thank you for the kind words. It is a bit frustrating but also great in other ways that we take on a lot of different lines. I've been here through a lot of the new product line introductions so I feel a bit like a grizzled veteran sometimes but overall optimistic when I don't let myself get anxiously buried "in the weeds". The person who designed that preset noticed. Thank you for giving a shout out about their work and others. Also thank you for the great sample. Free licenses for CS versions are added to every account. To get the additional Sunset Sound modules is 9.99 for those who already have T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb (even from a group buy or similar, sorry that didn't happen correctly from the go... again... but trust me that's been a road traveled a LOT over these past days since the release). I wasn't the only one successful but I did keep pushing and my apologies that it wasn't right there out of the gate. You can also use MixBox in your DAW, it could be useful if you want to experiment with keeping a chain of 500-series style modules at the ready and taking up only one insert or send slot, in that way it is a bit lighter or maybe better stated as a quicker and simpler workflow than a suite like T-RackS. I'd rather use MixBox for chaining these modules and T-RackS processors as single processors in my workflow. Of course YMMV so you may still not gel with the aura of MixBox and similar. That's fair enough, everybody works differently or at least prefers something different. Otherwise life and creating music and other cool things would probably be pretty boring.
  15. Update - if you send me your username (or open/reply to your support ticket) I believe there's a workaround/solution for the modules being greyed out and we can get you up and running. Thanks!
  16. If a few of you who have purchased but see greyed out modules on either Mac or Windows wouldn't mind sending me your IK usernames I can have someone see if there's a common factor among those having the issue. I would truly appreciate it.
  17. If you aren't seeing the modules after purchase, please try forcing a refresh in IK Product Manager with CTRL/COMMAND-R or restarting it completely. I've reported the issue with the 9.99 update being unavailable to those who chose T-RackS Sunset Sound Studio Reverb in a group buy or similar. Thank you.
  18. My colleague has their Marcus Miller model bass and says it is great especially for the price. I'll check out the Sire 335 clone, so far seems like an excellent choice. A bit thin at the nut but that's a 335 thing to be expected. Ebony fretboard and bone nut in that price range is hard to beat.
  19. Not a bad deal, I would have considered it but thankfully I missed it I have a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups that I'd like to put into a semi-hollow but I'm leaning more toward the Epiphone Sheraton II Pro (likely a used model) since I like those a bit more than the Epi 335. I've had a Gibson 335 Dot (1980something date range) and it was amazing but the Epi versions are quite good and hopefully people don't turn away from these Epi versions as they'll miss out on some quite nice guitars if they do. And the pickup swap would be much harder than most other guitars as @mettelus notes so I think I'm too old for that ____ at this point and would just get it done by someone with more patience that wants to make a few bucks. I'll stick with work on solidbody electrics that are easier to deal with!
  20. No, you should download the update and the sounds from the IK Product Manager, there's a single download button there for the sounds (and yes the presets are in there) and IK Product Manager is the main supported method for installation and authorization. You just need to go to the sounds tab under SampleTron 2. The User Area is a fallback and not the main method for updating current products, that would be the IK Product Manager. And yes, the issue of the swapped files in the IK User Area has been reported.
  21. Just for this one, the jam was freed with the other recents We do have millions of users, after all.
  22. There was a backup with the system that sends update emails. All should be good now. If you aren't getting emails (all who have a valid email address and have whatever software has been update should be sent the update notification emails) please let the support team know.
  23. The new Grunge Teams content is free for SampleTron 2 owners, if that's not clear. It's a bit different than a typical expected Mellotron type of sound (the soundtrack is all from the new set except the drums) but cool nonetheless.
  24. Ouch. I guess over a quarter century of success seems like ineptitude to some? Thanks for the feedback.
