I reedited my post to make it clearer . I don't doubt for a moment he makes guitars out of a hotch-potch of bits . I'm sure he owns dozens of guitars. I own a few dozen guitars myself and then some To be honest with you I absolutely don't care one way or another about what type of guitar any guitar player plays .... Myself included ..if you can play you can play 😜 When and if you re read my edited post you will see that I happened to mention few facts that go beyond easy to tell the difference .... ex, A Jag is a short scale guitar and The Jazzmaster is a long scale guitar . The necks are not interchangeable unless you feel like re drilling and relocating the whole bridge assembly . Also the electronics of these two guitars are totally different ...that could that be done easily , sure , but who would want to ... Kenny

As part of my guitar rotation . I have and practice on a Jaguar almost every day at home . Having said that , To me It sure looks like the guitar he is using in the video is beat to hell a modified Fender Jaguar w lipstick pick ups .... It is easy to spot the difference between a Jag and a Jazzmaster because The Jazzmaster does not have all the extra switches on the lower horn of the guitars body . Also The Jaguar has a chrome plate on the upper horn that houses the controls that offers a separate setting for the neck pick up that can be recalled by flipping the switch while leaving the other settings on the lower switches as they were to be recalled . The Traditional Fender Jazzmaster does have a separate control to dial in the neck pick up and set it autonomously from the 3 pick up switch , the thing is the switch on the Jazzmaster is built into the pick guard while the switch on the a traditional Jaguar is the chrome one separate from the pick guard as clearly seen in his video .The few times I saw guitar closeups in the video it appears he may have kept the switch plate cover and not the switches on the lower bout . As far as the neck pick up goes it is hard to tell if it is MIA or a lowered neck pick up .... Since the Jaguar is a short scale neck and the Jazzmaster is a long scale neck it is doubtful any one could swap necks and do a conversion easily ..for that to happen one would have to re drill and relocate the bridge Kenny

Ouch ! I had a Pitt Bull in New York that was an artist in leather . She could take a full on pair of cowboy boots that almost came up to my knee's and turned them in to a pair of open back sandals . FWIW , $50 bucks may even get a nice starter crate for your puppy .... Kenny

It sounds like you are gonna be in for a bumpy ride for a while . Housebreaking a puppy is a commitment and it may bring you into the championship rounds of learning patience in places you never knew you had . It may be a good idea to approach training your new puppy from multiple angles of approach . Puppy pads when you are spending time with the puppy ...the reason for them is not only can they help keep poops and whizzes contained , you can heap praise and reward once the puppy starts to get the memo to use them . Learning to praise your dog at the exact time when it does something right is the most powerful motivation and tool you have on your side . Another thing to consider is crate training the dog . Dogs will generally go in their safe space once they have learned to feel safe and enjoy spending time in the crate. Think of a dogs crate as the dogs equivalent of a man cave where they can chill out in it . I feed my dog in his crate ( non liquids ) give him treats and a chew toy and he loves being in there when he knows I'm home ....when I go out he seems OK ...much better than before An added benefit is once they are in the crate it frees you up to focus on things you want to do ..like your music or fill in the blank ... When it becomes time to "let the dog out" you can guide your puppy to a safe place to do his bizznez because chances are he or she will be excited and want to go anyway . This is the golden opportunity to reward him when he does something right As far as cleaning supplies to keep on hand ...White Vinegar mixed with water will clean and eliminate odors from hard surfaces . Hydrogen Peroxide mixed with water works great for cleaning up wee stains on carpets and rugs ...also works for number 2 .... Chef or plain old hamburger grill man it wouldn't matter too me one bit . Anyone with that look on their face has probably spend some time doing a deep scratch on their balls and their butt crack looking for relief .... Even if I saw them wash their hands it wouldn't change my feelings. Those type of individuals with that sort of hygiene don't need a washroom in a restaurant . They need a fully equipped Hazardous Materials Team to perform a decontamination . Kenny

I hear you on that one , at least you were having a good run playing out in clubs w a band and doing gigs .... I always got the feeling you liked cats better than dogs ..so if you were on stage grooving hard during a keyboard solo would you look up and say "Oh someone wants to shoot my dog I'll deal with him on the bands break "....Now if your a cat was about to get shot I bet you would probably side sucker slap the guy upside the side of his head with an 88 key midi keyboard controller , check to see if he is knocked out cold and then go back to playing your smoking hot keyboard solo with the band 😄 Kenny

Great music involves not only drawing the listener in with a story the listener wants to hear told , the listener also wants to have the song wash over them and bring them to a place where they can feel the full power and emotions the song brings up for them . It used to be everything came down to writing and performing good Songs . People just don't write that way anymore . Kenny

Dave ! you certainly got my full attention with that tidbit . I googled Moroccan smuggling techniques. Now I feel cheated and teased by my thorough lack of knowledge of how things really work in the world . Kenny

I used to use it myself when I first became aware of it . True story. I have seen Joe Pass back stage spray a rag and wipe Finger Ease on his guitar strings and finger board before a gig to give him some slippery . When I finally gave up using The Black Diamond Barbed Wire Signature edition of strings , I eventually found E B Slinkys . Took me years to go from 9 's to 10's . I tried WD-40. a number of time ...Finger Ease and WD used to leave some gunk .On a Maple Tele neck , as it built up over time it would turn areas of my guitar neck into patches of spotty black sticky oil spills In my case I found lighter fluid to work better for my needs . Lighter fluid evaporated unlike WD and it didn't attract dust and leave a layer of finger grime .... I have also used rubbing alcohol when I didn't have anything else around nice talking w you guys , Kenny

I remember your sharing on the old forum when she passed away ...You have paid some dues for sure . If I had a garage I would probably spend a lot of time in there too. I would even try to start a band with a bunch of old guys with beards .... Dust that piano after 7 years sounds like a good plan too me I did an online search to see if there is a song about dusting pianos .... This is what I found ....my first time listening to him and I think he sounds pretty good ..Whew his playing seems pretty intense . I got 8 mins in then I decided the only way I could keep up with him is if I drank a whole pot of coffee ...in my case either way it was worth the listen . Kenny
