Couple years ago I bought something from Italy and had to return it. Even for returns Italy charged me import tax/duties which ended up basically same total cost as what I shipped back. I think within a decade computers will be implanted in our bodies/brains. Maybe even running music plugins. Although inevitably in middle of sessions we’ll have to stop and take a break because of course our drummer, who can’t say not to free plugins, will be constantly stuck upgrading to new versions and we all have to stop and wait for his downloads/upgrades to finish because I’m sure he’ll glitch, lose the song, or get off tempo. Darn it Jason, quit downloading free stuff…see what happens hehe

U-he performance update recently looks really promising. Haven’t tried loading up several instances yet but from the description sounds like will greatly improve cpu use on Mac. Other developers often move on to next thing so this was refreshing.

When first released only those that had individually purchased pharlight or starlight were seeing the discount. Komplete owners were not seeing the discounted $99 price. NI support said it was a glitch and would take couple days to fix but looks like they resolved it pretty quick.

Yesterday $99 upgrade for those with komplete 13 wasn’t showing up. They fixed today.

The included effects rack is nice. The arp is fun to play with. NKS support is nice if you use it. Compared to Arturia this one sounds thicker to me. I have a lot of vst synths but almost none have a name that is all lowercase.

Honestly have never tried but my first nks keyboard was the m32. I got it on sale for $99 and sat In front of my larger controller keyboard before I switched to a larger KK S49. If I could do it over id get the S61 but at the time they were sold out everywhere and needed it for a project.

If you have komplete Kontrol it is NKS ready out of the box which is nice for tweaking

I’m leaning towards AR1 because of the upcoming orchestral foundations modular system Christian discusses in video I posted above at 12:58. Seems you will be able to mix and match which sounds pretty cool.
