  1. Wow! That is an amazing deal.
  2. I have been trying to figure this out as well and think I have it very close! So the MIXFACE USB Port 3 is for DAW Transport and Fader Control MIXFACE PORT 2 is for FIRMWARE updates MIXFACE PORT 1 is for MIDI Control I have my DAW Profile on the MIXFACE set to REAPER and select Mackie Universal in the Cakewalk Control Surface plugin The faders and selection buttons (REC, MUTE, SOLO) seem to work. The Markers are assigned to the In and Out Loop Points The Loop Button does not seem to enable LOOPING I am not sure what the SELECT button will do. Also it seems that the MASTER FADER controls the first Main PHYSICAL audio output and not an inserted Master Bus, even though it might be assigned to the Main Outputs. So far things are working. You might need to check the Transport going back to NOW TIME Marker which you can toggle using CTRL +W Next item on the agenda is setting up the MIDI Control side of things which I probably will use the Generic MIDI Control Surface setting similar to how I am currently using my nanoKONTROL.
  3. The livestream was crazy and fun. I had a little trouble with The Wheel Of Fun, it was a little crazy, so I needed to modify the way to enter. -Updated Giveaway- After watching the replay, leave a comment and I will select the winners on a future livestream. Thanks as always for the kind support and to UVI for providing the licenses.
  4. So an exciting bit of news. UVI has extended a couple of Quadra Metal and Wood licenses that I will be giving away.
  5. Quadra Metal and Wood is currently at the intro price of $99. It will be fun to dive into this one together as well as take a look at a couple of titles from Indiginus; Wurl-E Studio and Blue Street Brass As always I will be glad to answer questions while we are live. Thanks for watching.
  6. I know I have seen a C7 listed while viewing some of the intro videos, so you can be sure an upright will definitely be added at some point. Troels mentioned that there were a little over 100 Soundpaint libraries that would be rolling out, some ports of existing 8DIO libraries and others brand new to Soundpaint.
  7. So TWO new Soundpaint titles drop later today. The first one is a port of the 8DIO Free Angels Kontakt library: The second title is CINEMATIC AMBIENCES, no price yet. Stay tuned 📺
  8. Oh yes, I have it here but have not had a chance to load it up yet. You guys will be among the first to know any discoveries I find. Look for something coming soon!
  9. Here is a little more information here: https://wp.me/p6Mqqs-Iq
  10. Westwood Instruments has launched a new title, that is somewhere between a piano but not quite a synth. Get lost in the "in-between". Intro price $79 (Reg. $139) This is Westwood Instruments First Kontakt Player library so it will work in the Free Kontakt player. Stay tuned for more. https://westwoodinstruments.com/instruments/lostpiano/
  11. Well, I am finding I should have Wupped, instead of upgrading my Horizon bundle. I had so many plugins from different versions, some back to v9, that doing the WUP would have made the most sense. Here's hoping that I can work something out as I have not activated anything from today's adventure. Always check your purchases as there may be a better deal right around the corner.
  12. So just make sure you check for possible "other" upgrade opportunities. I had forgotten I had the Horizon Bundle and almost purchased the Platinum bundle upgrade. Thanks to Koby for helping me sort things out, I found that I could upgrade my Horizon bundle to Horizon + Restoration + NLS for $64.99!!!!
  13. Everyone was beamed safely back to Earth after the livestream. You can now relive the adventure from outer space to Brasil ;^) Some special moments combining ELYSION II with The Orchestra Essentials, with a little Soundpainting at the end. Special thanks to everyone who made the livestream such a joy. I look forward to seeing you next time.
  14. Yes, never on sale, no subscription necessary. I think this is a good policy and you really can't beat the price.
  15. So Beautiful Noises has a lot of very interesting found sound type of sources, like spoken word, chants, singing, atmospheres, etc. Check it out: https://soundpaint.com/products/beautiful-noises?variant=39295705383083 Here is the walkthrough :
  16. Just checking in to see if you were able to find out any additional info on this? I just received a Mixface and very interested in seeing how it could integrate into my Cakewalk workflow.
  17. Thanks so much my friend, I really appreciate the kind words. What happens to me is when I play a virtual instrument something unique is always triggered somehow, with this it triggered that "Spain" motif and it was over from there. I have all of these fragments of musical ideas and such rolling around up there and all it takes is the right nudge from a library to jostle things right through the fingers, It's just getting those fingers to translate. It is an amazing experience for sure.
  18. Absolutely. NOIRE paired with Piano Colors is a fabulous combination.
  19. The Famous "E" is a gem for sure, knowing it was the keyboard used on so many of the arrangements I really enjoy (especially Jarreau). The benefit I see with Soundpaint is first of all Cost. $20 for an accessibly Rhodes like this is really something, and I can see it being especially useful on a live rig as the CPU and memory resources are very good. Side by side with the Famous E, Keyscape, or other Rhodes titles will certainly expose some of the limitations but out of the box it felt instantly fun to play. The other part of having it in the Soundpaint universe is the possibility of using the sources to layer and morph with other titles in the library. I have done some experiments morphing it with the Steinway and it is very interesting. Now if I can just nail that instrument break!!!! 😎
  20. I guess it was the lava lights warming up ;^) This was a really on the spot live stream as I wanted to share as soon as I could and have time to get lubch ready. Thanks my friend!
  21. WOW! I have been playing this most of the morning and had to share a little bit with all of you so I did a brief live play. For $20 this is an amazing deal. https://soundpaint.com/collections/keyboard
  22. Yes, Jason is still working on the full Kontakt version with multiple mic positions, more velocity layers and high sampling rate recordings, the SFZ Compact version will give you a basic idea of the sound of the instrument.
  23. It's Here, and only $29!!!! https://www.productionvoices.com/product/300-grand-compact/ Check out my sneak peek:
