  1. I picked up the previous Humble Bundle which came with a bunch of loop libraries. I haven't figured out how to make use of them. Any pointers to how to get started? Also, I have access to loop libraries included with my Computer Music subscription which up to now I've pretty much ignored, but I'm wondering if I'm missing out.
  2. Here's the previous Humble Bundle with the same versions of Mixcraft. You can read the discussion that hopefully answers your question.
  3. Even better. Good to know. I've been one upped by cclarry!
  4. You can do better on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=bx_console+sc&_trksid=p2380057.m4084.l1313 These are likely license codes that were originally bundled with Focusrite hardware. Best price right now is $11.99.
  5. How would these compare with PA Unfiltered Audio Indent 2 (distortion) or Sandman Pro (delay)? Just wondering if what I have is good enough.
  6. If you just get the latest CM issue, you’ll get the collection which includes a lot of the plugins from previous issues (so no need to get those issues). If it’s a special CM version of a plugin, it’s probably available in the following CM collections each month. I look for the ones that advertise the monetary value of the plugin (though some of those like IK’s expire after a while).
  7. It's slow, but the site does eventually respond (several minutes later). When I registered a bunch of issues, I opened the links in new tabs, waited for prompts, filled them in, and then checked back later for the responses.
  8. I get "Audio Plugin Server has stopped working" (only when starting up or closing) but the program or system hasn't crashed for me, fortunately. I'm running Windows 10 Pro (10.0.19042 Build 19042).
  9. You put a lot of work into it, and it demonstrates in depth expertise. Thanks. Much appreciated.
  10. To be clear, I used the $20 voucher from the Fanatical Music Magix Bundle 2. I don't know if the Producer Planet voucher would work for features, but it did work on the soundpool (from the MM app) so it might. But yes, for $10, it's worth it. Update: I tried to use the Producer Planet voucher to unlock the unlimited tracks feature and got "This voucher cannot be used for the selected item."
  11. I had MM and soundpools I purchased from previous humble bundle deals so I bought the Fanatical Music Bundle 2 and used a $20 voucher + $10 of real money to add the Song Maker feature. Now, I can make use of the soundpools I have (but never used). I'm running into the 8 track limit of the free MM when generating songs so for now, I just unselect some instruments. Got the $1 MM Score Edition via Humble Bundle. Added some of the score soundpools listed in Song Maker. Now, I'm looking to add more of the listed soundpools. Right now, I'm having a blast just generating the songs. Eventually, I need to figure out how to change keys and chords. You can select up to four soundpools when generating a song, so it's kind of fun to have it do a mashup of different genres. Also, Samplitude Music Studio in the bundle installs instruments that show up in MM so you don't have to buy them in MM (even though they don't show up in the store as bought).
  12. I had bought the Fanatical deal and used a $20 voucher + $10 of real money to add the Song Maker feature. I had soundpools I purchased from previous humble bundle deals. Now, I can actually use them with Song Maker. MM SE gives you three score soundpools, so I picked the three most expensive ones (compilations). Thanks. I never thought to do multiple purchases. That is quite a deal for $1. The MM SE doesn't stack, it turns out. I'll probably add a bunch of soundpools that are directly listed in Song Maker.
  13. FreeNAS uses ZFS, and manages all the disks (software RAID). It can do RAID 0, 1, Z (equiv. to 5), Z2 (equiv. to 6). I'm running XignasNAS which is a branch of the old FreeNAS. I have a boot SSD and then six 3 TB drives in a RAIDZ2 configuration (can lose 2 drives). Anyhow, you want a separate device to boot off of, either a USB stick or a small drive. For simplicity, I would suggest RAID 1 mirrors, and adding drives in pairs (to be RAID 10).
