  1. https://forums.steinberg.net/t/cubase-11-0-40-maintenance-update/741088 Cubase 11 Release notes Cubase 11.0.40 What's new? September 21, 2021 – We are happy to announce the release of Cubase 11.0.40 with several fixes and improvements for audio export, working with Broadcast Wave files and other areas. A lot of the fixes have been initialised by feedback from our artist community and user reports in our community and beta forum. Thank you for your constant support. Your feedback is highly appreciated and helps us every day to improve our products in your interest. Please download and install the Cubase 11.0.40 core application in the Steinberg Download Assistant, which should already be installed on your system. If not, you can find it here. Please share your feedback on the 11.0.40 update in our community forum. We have corrected the following features and functionality: Audio Export Using Export Audio Mixdown in Split Channels mode no longer causes the length of the exported track to be inaccurate. Using Export Audio Mixdown with job queues no longer results in error messages. Exporting audio with a different sample rate no longer changes the origin time in Broadcast Wave files. Exporting audio from projects with 5.1 channel configuration no longer produces audibly inconsistent results. Miscellaneous Different track actions, such as duplicating or disabling/enabling tracks, no longer causes Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol to lose sync. The name of a channel in the MixConsole is no longer truncated at certain zoom settings. Broadcast Wave file settings are now correctly saved in the project settings. Render in Place now creates Broadcast Wave files (instead of Wave files) to include data like origin time, track name and more in the file chunk. If HiDPI is enabled in the Preferences dialog on the General page, ARA Extensions again work as expected. Vertical scrolling on a trackpad is no longer reversed in macOS. Horizontal scrolling with Apple’s Magic Mouse is no longer reversed in macOS. Adding track pictures to multiple selected tracks at once is now possible, by pressing the Shift key and double-clicking on one of the selected tracks. Stability We have improved the stability in several areas of the application: When working in Cubase with a sample rate of 96kHz When editing chord symbols in the Score Editor
  2. Over here both BIG AL and V76U73 are $99.99 (reduced from $249) w/o any vouchers. Maybe your price includes discounts from previous purchases.
  3. How did you get it down to just $15?
  4. Actually, the August personal voucher may not help b/c I'm trying to get a better price than $69.99 on an upgrade from Black Box Analog Design HG-2 to the new M/S version.
  5. Thanks Larry. I can't find mine but don't want to be a bother, so I'll just wait for the next sale. Cheers...
  6. Was the August Loyalty Voucher generic (the same code for everyone) or specific? I can't find mine and am hoping that it's the former.
  7. Can you combine the August Loyalty Voucher with the ANY ($29.99 / $39.99 / $49.99) vouchers?

  9. Wow! I just played around with BBCSO Core (an upgrade for me from Discover) and the sound of this library is extraordinary! And so simple to setup and use (I cheated and downloaded Cubase templates from Spitfire). This is, far and away, the best $240 I've ever spent. I'm going to be up *very* late tonight.
  10. Okay, now I get it. Originally -- when I viewed this post with Firefox -- what I saw is shown below (I assumed it was an inside joke). But using Chrome revealed what I guess everyone else saw.
  11. Do the numbers above mean that we've just entered the Singularity and AI is now in charge? 😬
  12. Thanks. 😉 It seems that contemporary economists are no longer concerned with inflation. But now that it's occurring in the broader economy rather than just in the stock market (i.e., asset price inflation), they may actually have to [gasp] raise rates and risk collapsing the current bubble. But given the prevalence, popularity, and profitability of MMT, they'll probably just continue printing until they reach Weimar-level inflation. Good times!
  13. I remember a guy back in the mid 80's saying the stock market would continue to rise forever. But then Black Monday happened. And then came the Tech Wreck. And then the Subprime Meltdown. And don't forget 1929. Since 1987 these unwindings have been occurrring about once a decade. Markets are cyclical. They rise and then they fall. But maybe this time really is different and stocks will continue to rise forever (fueled by endless money printing). Who knows...
  14. Surprisingly this (very rational!) concept does not seem to apply to fiat currencies. Central banks have printed trillions of dollars/euro/yen/... over the last decade and no plummeting has occurred. It defies common sense. I wonder how much longer this can continue.
  15. I just updated and now neither the standalone nor the plugin launches. NI has really been off their game lately. Proceed with caution...
  16. I have the same offer. Did the upgrade provide anything beyond the ~1,500 additional presets?
  17. I've decided to install it first on my old, re-purposed Windows 7 'test' system, just in case.
  18. Sorry for such a newb question, but does this also apply to getting Obduction from Epic Games via their Epic Installer?
  19. BTW, autoruns (for Windows) is an excellent tool for seeing (and controlling) what's installed and runs on your system. Before installing anything new I take a 'snapshot' of my system (via File | Save...), perform the installation, and then run "Compare..." to see what (if anything) was added. It's very comprehensive, lightweight, and free.
  20. I'm new to Epic Games. Is it safe/wise to install them on a system that you use for your DAW? Specifically, will the installer or games install any resource-draining software that would reduce DAW performance?
  21. It appears you have to buy something before getting the plugin for free. Fragment is a dual looper device with pitch shifting, phrase modulation and more. It comes free with An Moku's Less for $6 - out now on Puremagnetik Tapes. Download instructions are included with the Bandcamp album download.
  22. Thanks, scook. I saw the notices too, but was surprised that a non-US company had sales tax nexus in the US. Most of my plugin purchases are from non-US companies, and I seldom, if ever, pay sales taxes. Maybe I should have; who knows.
  23. I just went to purchase an upgrade to Saturn and Timeless and noticed that sales tax was added to my order (appropriate for my state [I live in the US]). Is this something new for FF? They're not a US company and so I'm surprised that they have tax nexus here.
  24. Sorry, but both are excellent. I use them regularly in most mixes. I wish all my plugins were so thoughfully designed/executed. Note, I don't use them to enhance audio but rather to fix problems or achieve standard mixing goals. I used to use them to enhance/sweeten/fortify tracks but found there were many better alternatives (YMMV).
