Overall a nice improvement over V1, but still no option in Settings to specify plugin type (say VST2 vs. VST3) to prevent the Repair error from constantly showing up. The Repair function needs some repair when you use the relocate option; even when you take it to the correct folder it does not accept it. Part of the problem is that NA V2 does not tell you what the specific problem is (you have to guess from the last folder location). Not sure why it's so difficult to get this working correctly. Just noticed that after the initial installation, it seems to re-reun the installation process every subsequent time you use it. This is a real PITA; esp since it uninstalled version 1 (fortunately I have a backup). One step forward, two steps back...

Actually there are non-demo free versions (see red highlights below). I downloaded, installed, and used one myself and there was no indication of demo status (see screenshot of the actual plugin loaded in my DAW, and note the word "free" in the top-left corner). Cheers...

Thanks, I thought that might be the case, but I've never started a trial on AT5 (or any IKM product for that matter). I'm curious if this is happening to just me or to others as well (possibly resulting from a recent update).

Initially I thought this might be the result of an registration/activation issue, but AT5 correctly displays what I own and what I don't own. And all the items I do own seem to work properly (at least the few that I checked). So, this pop-up does not seem to be an error message.

For me (Win10 Pro 20H2 / RME UCX) plugin performance on C12 Pro is about the same as C11 Pro except for most NI (esp Kontakt) instruments which is much worse on C12! It's so bad in fact that for some VIs (eg Pharlight & Straylight) I can't even play a single note on a a single instance of the plugin without getting audio drop-outs and crazy perf meter spiking.

I opened "cosmos.sqlite" (located in " ...\AppData\Local\Waves Audio\Waves Plugin Server") and confirmed that the latest Waves' update erased all my sample library additions (just the paths, not the actual samples/folders) leaving only the Waves' samples (as described by abacab). Nice!

From my perspective, the process above is a perfect example of 'turnkey' (with the proviso that you have to turn the key 15 times!).

Lots of great new features and updates to old ones ... but $70 to upgrade?!? I paid only $200 to upgrade Komplete 13 UCE from version 12, and that came with a gazillion VIs, FXs, and Expansions! I'll buy SSS v2 when it goes on sale...

Hmm, I wonder if this is a case of "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" (i.e., the person you corresponded with at SB is simply ignorant of SB's announcements). If it is indeed an attempt to cheat you out of something that you clearly are entitled to, I'd say that's very unsavory of SB. Since we don't have a disapproving, finger-waving emoticon, I made my own. Take that SB!
