I opened "cosmos.sqlite" (located in " ...\AppData\Local\Waves Audio\Waves Plugin Server") and confirmed that the latest Waves' update erased all my sample library additions (just the paths, not the actual samples/folders) leaving only the Waves' samples (as described by abacab). Nice!

From my perspective, the process above is a perfect example of 'turnkey' (with the proviso that you have to turn the key 15 times!).

Lots of great new features and updates to old ones ... but $70 to upgrade?!? I paid only $200 to upgrade Komplete 13 UCE from version 12, and that came with a gazillion VIs, FXs, and Expansions! I'll buy SSS v2 when it goes on sale...

Hmm, I wonder if this is a case of "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" (i.e., the person you corresponded with at SB is simply ignorant of SB's announcements). If it is indeed an attempt to cheat you out of something that you clearly are entitled to, I'd say that's very unsavory of SB. Since we don't have a disapproving, finger-waving emoticon, I made my own. Take that SB!

Can you move it after the fact with the Steinberg Library Manger? That's what I've done in the past. Also, IIRC, you can specify a default installation path for future installs.

Same here. It took just an hour to download, install and authorize. And I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. Except for two minor issues with the Project Assistant and Melodyne/ARA, everything works 100%. This release was all about usability and you see these improvements everywhere. Most of them are fairly small, but they really add up. I hope SB continues along this path; versions 9.5-11 almost made me switch to Studio One.

Yes. I just installed C12 Pro (with the new licensing system) this afternnon and am still able to run C11 Pro via the dongle (on the same Win10 laptop).

C12. My point simply was that if you don't successfully activate C12 first, it won't show up in My product downloads.

I see mine *but* I don't think it showed up in the "My product downloads" tab until *after* the SDA succesfully accepted my Download Access and Activation Codes. Were you able to do those two things? If not, you probably should not expect to see it there.

Well in that case you are entitled to the free grace period update and SB will fix this for you.

I had a similar problem last year (when I tried to 'grace-period-update' C9 to C11) and the issue was that my copy of C9 had been updated to C10 *but* still remained in my account. SB told me that it should have been removed b/c it was used to upgrade to C10. And so I had to pay to upgrade to C11 (from C10). Could this be the cause of your problem?

A potential workaround suggested on the Cubase Forum is to "...copy the Synthengine.vst3 to the Cubase 12 VST3 folder..." Apparently this works for Mystic, Prologue and Specter, but not for LoopMash. https://forums.steinberg.net/t/cant-find-prologue-mystic-spector-in-cubase-12/769948/5
