Judging by the release notes, this seems to be a fairly substantive update. And it came just five weeks after C12.0. That's very encouraging (but I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet).

How would a mere mortal practice this type of sorcery? I thought I'd ask while you were still vertical.

I've never owned any Antares plugins ... Do you have to install Articulator via the 1.6GB installer? If so, does it install all plugins like IKM's installer? Also, does Articulator require CodeMeter Runtime (and is this a problem)?

I thought the same thing b/c it didn't do the update at the beginning (the way it used to do in V1). It took a minute and then the pop-up (below) appeared.

Hmm. In Cubase 12 it still shows 6.7.0. I also checked the VST3 folder (Win10), and it too was 6.7.0. My problem might be that I used Native Access v2 to do the update. Maybe it changed the install path (despite the fact that I checked it). Oh well...

Seems to have only updated Standalone and VST2, but not VST3. NI is really going downhill lately...

When I posted I was referring to synths whose raison d'etre is MPE (like the ROLI Equator). Many of the ones you mentioned started their life before MPE was introduced. Nonetheless your list is very useful because -- aside from the few that I own -- I was not aware that this many synths actually support MPE. So thanks for taking the time to list them. Also, I wonder if it's even meaningful to distinguish between MPE by-design and MPE added-later synths because it seems that what makes MPE most useful is the ability to modulate so many parameters in just one place (like on just one key), and that requires an MPE controller.

It seems that the weird 'pad' layout of the Sensel Morph would make it difficult to play. Was that a problem for you?

Despite the seemingly cool/expressive potential for MPE, there's a surprisingly meager choice of MPE controllers and VIs. It seems that developers spend more time finding ways to make our music sound worse than better (I'm referring to the recent deluge of lo fi plugins). Strange...

And when playing these instruments (in realtime) you don't get more audio drop-outs/perf meter spikes compared to C11? If you answer no, are you using MIDI Remote? Sorry for all the questions...
