  1. Hope the ideas in this wind up on a CD like Trouble!
  2. What? No love for Triumph? Only Yanks are Triumph fans? Triumph Classics
  3. And here I thought you were going to say $29!
  4. I wandered into an old audio pros forum a couple of days ago, while doing a little research on the Waves WNS plugin. I paid less than $24 at EveryPlugin.com. List today is $499. The peeps on the forum were comparing WNS to Cedar's software implementation of their own hardware. WNS was $600, while the Cedar plugin was $3000. WNS wasn't as good/effective as Cedar, but for the "excellent" price of the WNS, it gave Cedar a good run for the money. VSTs, AAXx and AUs didn't exist yet. So, for me to be able to clean up the audio for my YouTube vids for under $25? We live in good times! Well, mostly.
  5. Surprised not to see any mention of Soundtoys. I had picked up individual plugins when on special, so the Black Friday upgrade special to the bundle (which is the only way to get the Effect Rack) cost me less than the list price of a single 'Toy'. https://www.soundtoys.com/
  6. Take a look at Gig Performer. Many Forte users switched when the Forte dev announced that no further work would be done on it. It's fantastic! I tried Cantabile before I found Gig Performer. Once on GP, there's no going back. Also great in the studio when you just want to woodshed. https://gigperformer.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq2dQvTChSwrkP3hHt452Hw
  7. Daryl and Daryl? Really liked this little tune. Sundown and the Shadows sounds like a great name for a band.
  8. If you picked up NS1, you might also want to grab W43 for noise reduction! Excellent companion tools. https://www.waves.com/plugins/w43-noise-reduction-plugin
  9. I have been waiting for the L2 Ultramaximizer to show up at $29. Excellent! Was using L3 until I saw this video... [/
  10. The Wall's development was fun. Beta users got to submit a name for the limiter. "The Wall" turned out to be an easy vote!
  11. It's a kaleidoscope of colors, dude! 😎
  12. SO disappointed. 😖 Thought I was going to get the Gidget collection for free.

    Done. Another fine Brainworx plugin!
  14. Objec Delay could almost be a member of the Soundtoys bundle. Very cool FX.
  15. Less. Much less. At least you can eat the teapot. Pretty much an admission that they're done with NORMAL (acoustic) instruments.
  16. I don't know of a single freebie that does.
  17. Worth a try. The only standalone upright bass I have is CoreBass Pear by Orange Tree Samples. Time to compare.
  18. Outstanding headphones! Love mine! And I paid WAY more. I have the 250 ohm version. Limited volume on a smartphone/tablet. Why anyone would want the 600 ohm version is beyond me.
  19. That's an even better price than what I just paid to Audio Deluxe ($32.99)!
  20. Note that Instant Flanger is on sale for $37 at Audio Deluxe. When I added it to the cart, AD automatically applied a coupon (spring19), so I got it for $32.99! Excellent! https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plug-ins/eventide-instant-flanger-mk-ii
  21. This is a beautiful instrument, both the real and virtual ones. And a great price! I had to wait a couple of years for this price. I picked up the 3-piano bundle (Italian, German, American) at a great price years ago, but had to wait for the Ravenscroft. If you like good sampled pianos, get this one! Note that it runs in the free UVI Workstation, so the library uses UVI's excellent compression!
  22. The freebie is just sound clips of stomps, claps, snaps and thuds. At first, I confused it with the Loops de la Creme Kontakt instrument of the same name. NOT a plugin.
