  1. Oops. Don't have my specs in my sig. Sorry. I'm currently doing most of my work in Studio One. I was tracking, not mixing. I should try it while mixing. Re the 750 Ti...I've got the 4GB version. Bought it when AMD stopped updating the driver my ancient (early 2012) Radeon card.
  2. My 'old' nVidia Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti gives a 0.14 mS DPC latency. Think I'll stick with it.
  3. Some 'hey' back at you, Bob. [If you prefer Robert, just pretend I said 'Robert'. ?] I didn't list those 'cause I haven't bought them yet. ? Good thing I have an account at CD Baby! This is a good reminder. I've still got a bunch of Bob Marley to get through (in my car), but when I get to the end of his catalog, Trouble is on top of the stack going in next. Actually, this would be a good time to pick up the other two. They'll be here by the time I'm done (this time!) with Marley. Did I ever tell you that the Trouble CD arrived with the front insert in upside down? The bat looked freakin' awesome upside down! What a strut! So I left it that way! You just keep doing what you're doing!
  4. I used all of my points the last time I bought something. I now have zero. And no freebies to add. ?
  5. It's a tool, and not ears, but Newfangled Audio's EQuivocate works well for this. You feed your reference track to its sidechain input, and it'll match the EQ of the target audio over its 26 Mel Scale bands. I had it, then upgraded to the Elevate bundle, which included EQuivocate. Not cheap ($99; not on sale at the moment), but a good one. https://www.eventideaudio.com/products/third-party-plug-ins/equalizer/equivocate
  6. I checked my SS libraries. The only one besides this new one that I don't own? String Theory. Who's it by? Same dude. That's the reason I decided to pass.
  7. Hope the ideas in this wind up on a CD like Trouble!
  8. What? No love for Triumph? Only Yanks are Triumph fans? Triumph Classics
  9. And here I thought you were going to say $29!
  10. I wandered into an old audio pros forum a couple of days ago, while doing a little research on the Waves WNS plugin. I paid less than $24 at EveryPlugin.com. List today is $499. The peeps on the forum were comparing WNS to Cedar's software implementation of their own hardware. WNS was $600, while the Cedar plugin was $3000. WNS wasn't as good/effective as Cedar, but for the "excellent" price of the WNS, it gave Cedar a good run for the money. VSTs, AAXx and AUs didn't exist yet. So, for me to be able to clean up the audio for my YouTube vids for under $25? We live in good times! Well, mostly.
  11. Surprised not to see any mention of Soundtoys. I had picked up individual plugins when on special, so the Black Friday upgrade special to the bundle (which is the only way to get the Effect Rack) cost me less than the list price of a single 'Toy'. https://www.soundtoys.com/
  12. Take a look at Gig Performer. Many Forte users switched when the Forte dev announced that no further work would be done on it. It's fantastic! I tried Cantabile before I found Gig Performer. Once on GP, there's no going back. Also great in the studio when you just want to woodshed. https://gigperformer.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq2dQvTChSwrkP3hHt452Hw
  13. Daryl and Daryl? Really liked this little tune. Sundown and the Shadows sounds like a great name for a band.
  14. If you picked up NS1, you might also want to grab W43 for noise reduction! Excellent companion tools. https://www.waves.com/plugins/w43-noise-reduction-plugin
  15. I have been waiting for the L2 Ultramaximizer to show up at $29. Excellent! Was using L3 until I saw this video... [/
  16. The Wall's development was fun. Beta users got to submit a name for the limiter. "The Wall" turned out to be an easy vote!
  17. It's a kaleidoscope of colors, dude! ?
  18. SO disappointed. ? Thought I was going to get the Gidget collection for free.
  19. Done. Another fine Brainworx plugin!
  20. Objec Delay could almost be a member of the Soundtoys bundle. Very cool FX.
  21. Less. Much less. At least you can eat the teapot. Pretty much an admission that they're done with NORMAL (acoustic) instruments.
