  1. I was able to import and split several MP3s in CbB.
  2. My suggestion: put them on your head.
  3. Use the Mac to press the keys of your CbB system so you can say that you use a Mac with CbB. If that's important. 😀
  4. I had sax with one of my songs.
  5. That's a real beauty, Bill, and I think you're richer for owning it. When I was a teenager, I didn't know anything about guitars. We played what we had; Framuses, Teiscos, Tru-Tones. In 1972, we rotated Stateside and lived at my grandmother's house for a few months. My oldest brother had left a bunch of music magazines there from when he lived there. One was a Guitar Player magazine and on the back was a Gibson ad showing a white LP and a black LP facing opposite directions. I fell in love with the Les Paul from that photo. The shape, I think, is the most beautiful guitar form ever conceived. It wasn't until '78 that I got to buy one, thanks to the layaway program at Professional Music in Raleigh. It was a black on blond 1955 reissue with P90s. Alas, I had to trade it in for a bass rig in '80. I currently own an Epiphone LP, which plays and sounds great, But some day, some way, I'm going to get a "real" Les Paul. Congratulations, and happy playing!
  6. Hi, Jonathan. The company that made SONAR no longer exists. BandLab bought the rights to the software and is providing it free of charge for those with 64-bit OSes. You won't be able to get any SONAR software by download that you didn't previously buy. The old SOAR Command Center still works, I read, but SONAR 6 LE wasn't a DL app. Many 32-bit plug-ins will still work in the 64-bit CbB.
  7. It sounds to me like the project isn't closing completely, thus not releasing the audio driver for the next project. Check Task Manager to see if it's still trying to close. Perhaps a plug-in is not closing in the project. Does it still happen when you close Cakewalk instead of just a project?
  8. "I like women; I married one." Olden Polynice
  9. If it's just a slight increase in speed you want, have you tried Process>Length on a stereo mix of the song? If that's still a thing in CbB.
  10. If your plug-ins have already been scanned, they don't need to be scanned every time you open Cakewalk. Set it to 'manual scan' and you won't have to wait.
  11. Delete all the tracks from your project except the track folder. Save As and name it something else. Close project without saving the deletions.
  12. Apparently, you can't. It was just a thought.
  13. If you mean the synth as in "Lucky Man", my MX 49 has a patch called 'Lucky' which is that sound. If you want it for just one project, email me the MIDI and I'll run it through my keyboard and send you the wave.
  14. Thought this was a fred about crotchless panties. Carry on.
  15. I'm sure he's forgotten more Greek than I ever knew.
  16. Muddy Becan would be a good name for a band.
  17. Set the patch and channel in the MIDI track, not in the TTS-1 GUI.
