  1. Yeah, I'm waiting for the brain cell group buy! Although I wouldn't understand how it works... 🤪
  2. For me, it takes about 5 secs when I add the plugin to a track before it opens. If I simply open an already added instance on a track it is a second maybe to open. Open the preset menu has a slight delay, barely noticeable. Nothing like what you see. My PC is an i7-4790 3.60GHz 16Gig and an SSD. Opening the standalone version takes a lot longer, but that is to be expected. You should contact support and see if they can help.
  3. Thanks so much for looking into this Peter. I was very impressed with this last release. Very excited. It makes Amplitube an even better product with this lower CPU usage, along with the other fixes. If the devs nail the problem stated in ticket #3712804, it would be a great plus too.
  4. Good news and bad news: Good news: I have done some tests and, on my configuration, I can see a substantial reduction of the CPU usage! Yeah!!! Bad news: Changing the routing from the double and back to single still reduces the CPU as previously, so this bug is still there. Conclusion: If IK would fix this bug, Amplitube would be an even more killer product as far as CPU usage versus quality! But at least there is some gain with this release. Numbers: Running the standalone mode with the default preset yields these results in my task manager: v5.0.3: 3.3% v5.4.0: 5% v5.4.1: 3.5% But if you switch to double routing and back to single: v5.4.1: 2.2% !!!!! Now, that would make a difference for older PCs for sure.
  5. I already have so much from last august GB to play with and so little to gain from this GB. A few items, but certainly not 52! But for someone who missed last years GB and/or is new to IK, it's a great deal as GB always are. Good luck to those who participate!
  6. You should create a new thread to ask your question, as stated earlier in this thread: I don't think there is a fretboard view in the piano roll, but there is a tab view in the staff view. If this does not answer your question, start a new thread please.
  7. If this not easy enough to understand, let me know, I'll elaborate with clearer instructions.
  8. Yes, I was looking at upgrading my Neutron 3, but $149 for the upgrade is more than I paid for Neutron 3! 😲
  9. You are right! I updated my post above.
  10. For a guitar player, I am having a ton of fun running through some of the presets! Seems like I'll run out of time before I run out of presets to try! 😋 I was running through some of the pads and they are so rich and full, very nice! If anyone has a few minutes please try the preset 'Abundant Vineyards Pad'. On my setup there is a lot of crackle on chords. I don't know if it is intended, my setup, or a bug. In any case, no big deal with the number of great pad presets available! 👍
  11. Syner-V has a different install issue than GS-V issue. I did some research this morning and here are my findings. The GS-V issue is that one of the zip files is not copied at all by the install process: SYN2_GS-V_Part_4.zip For Syner-V all of the zip files get installed but two of the files are malformed and has an extra level of folder which makes the install copy the wrong thing. I am kinda surprised the install process doesn't give any error message on this though. The file SYN2_Syner-V_Part_3.zip and SYN2_Syner-V_Part_4.zip have the following folder structure: Syntronik 2 Sound Content Syntronik 2 Sound Content Samples When it should simply be: Syntronik 2 Sound Content Samples These get copied in the root of the Syntronic 2 sound content folder. If you manually fix the install of these two files in the Syner-V folder, make sure you erase '../Syntronik 2/Syntronik 2 Sound Content' and '../Syntronik 2/Install Syntronik 2 Sound Content.exe' to recover 8.64 GB of space.
  12. See above. And that's without reading KVR! 🤣
  13. Ok, found the problem. For some reason one of the part files does not get automatically installed. The file is 'SYN2_GS-V_Part_4.zip' found under '../IK Product Manager/Syntronik GS-V' if you haven't erased your install files yet. It is the one containing the needed samples. I copied the samples from that zip file to the 'Samples/Syntronik GS-V' and the preset you mentioned loads. All the samples from that zip where missing. So, like you said, other presets won't load either. @Peter - IK Multimedia This info is also pertinent to communicate to the devs. Thanks!
  14. Yes, I found that too. I thought it was a glitch in my install, but now see that it is a bug. @Peter - IK Multimedia this should be reported to the devs. One of the pack is extracted and copied as is into the Syner-V sample folder and we end up with the file 'Install Syntronik 2 Sound Content.exe' and directory 'Syntronik 2 Sound Content' in '..\Samples\Syntronik Syner-V' and the samples from that part are missing in '..\Samples\Syntronik Syner-V'. I hope this is clear enough, if not let me know.
  15. Luckily I just finished installing everything including GS-V! Took me most of the day since I had to clean up my sound directory to remove any chance of duplication. I tried loading "Funky Amped Wha E piano 1" and sadly I got: I checked in the samples directory and that directory does not exist. I will check inside the installation files and report back if I find it.
  16. Found the problem! It seems Product Manager does not like to use a network drive. I had asked it to use a directory on a NAS device, but it just froze every time I tried to install anything. Reverting to a normal drive solved the problem.
  17. My product manager is at a stand still! Are you all downloading all this stuff right now? Let me know when you are done so I can do mine! 😋Maybe I should delay t'ill next week. I'll go play some guitar with Amplitube in the mean time. 😊
  18. Before doing something such involved, I suggest you drop a line to IK support. I am sure they will help you to achieve your goal the simplest way possible.
  19. I think the biggest concern by most, was the multis and IK came through with those. I understand the change of wording shown above, but have no idea what how that affects me to be honest. I certainly hope everyone get out of this feeling happy, I know I am!
  20. Maybe, just maybe, the new rule applies only to those who got/get in after they were updated. That would be ok for those getting in when all the work had already been done!
  21. That is where I looked. @abacab's screen shot hinted at the web page, but it is not showing up for me.
  22. Not there for me, I'll contact support if it doesn't appear in the next few days.
