  1. Synths like this are not really unique other than this is tied to one activation. Uses 13gb.
  2. https://www.zinio.com/gb/computer-music-m3730
  3. All through history people did music for personal enjoyment. I always like to see younger kids in a Guitar Center that have yet developed a music ego testing out an instrument. Even those of us who are not guitar players tend to be shy. These days since I know the feel of a PRS wide fat I just grip the neck without taking it off the wall. Unfortunately I see more people getting less involved in wanting to play an instrument but prefer to be listeners. People want to play that on our push button way of creating music but I think there is a lot more competition on how people deal with their time. The world gets to see the finished product but never the steps taken to get there.
  4. It's probably the largest online shop for indy kontakt developers.
  5. I probably have 50 of these on my drive. I have yet to think "I need to create a project using bowls". I do a culinary project instead.
  6. We easily discount the quality of plugins in a DAW. I always like to watch the Creative Sauce channel since he visits a lot of plugins in Bandlab.
  7. People also need to be impressed with 700 sample layers.
  8. Nothing wrong with free or very good deals getting bumped. The first post moves to other pages which no one looks at.
  9. The Claire flute is a serious disappointment. C3-C4 are most likely oboe samples. Any bundled flute in an orchestra package is better. I get the feeling 8dio lost the correct samples and thought they could fool people and that lives up to the critics of those who say that how 8dio works. Still it's a nice bundle.
  10. Like all of them not named Live Suite. FL Studio, Studio One, Cubase, Reason, Reaper, Mixcraft, Acid. I have licenses of the above and 2 Suite licenses since Live 8.
  11. Also unnecessary work for a DAW that will eventually cost you $250 in upgrades.
  12. I'm a fan of VSL but like EW it's a single license.
  13. Post of the week. For us hoarders - post of the weak
  14. Well with VST and RE's thoe choices are overwhelming. RE content can't be stored on another drive. Those REs take up over 15gb on my systems.
  15. It seems like they inflated those prices before the 50% off.
  16. Once below the surface it is very deep. Setting up Kontakt is annoying.
  17. FL is the typical dance genre DAW. Live is the same way. I love both and Live takes some time to get use to the everything interface with no real separate windows. The FL user base seems to have insecurity issues thinking the company will go broke and change their business model despite the founders telling them it wont happen. They are well into the red. Their demos are downloaded more than any DAW. Despite their large product they are a very small company.

    BFD 3 $99

I might remove it from my systems. There's way too many issues that would take me hours n google just to solve. I don't think mine even makes sound. There's so many drum modules not named BFD that just works right after installation. It's a bad example of any developer trying to protect the product that is on par with Yellow Tools. There's just something really wrong with it burdened by authorization.
  19. It's still tough for me since I started on a linear DAW at the turn of the century. It's rare that they ever disappoint its users. Few developers can match their loyalty.
  20. Should be my signature but eventually it will fail on epic proportions.
  21. Easy pass as I have too many plugins.
  22. But with VSTs and REs that's where the choices are overwhelming.
