  1. I have some loops which I want to import into a project. My project is at 75 bpm. When I import some of these files that say they are at 75 bpm, and use Ctrl-L to loop them, they suddenly become 150 bpm loops at twice the length. Is there any way to force these to import correctly? In case it matters, these loops come from the Cymatic Lo-Fi free pack that they are giving away as part of a contest promotion. I don't have this problem with most loops.
  2. They must be really proud of their tubescreamer to be asking $50 for it.
  3. Are these in standard midi format or proprietary?
  4. Yes, and you don't often see new soundware for abandoned products released. It makes me wonder if they know something we don't.

  6. If I didn't already have MTurboDelay I would be on this.
  7. I suspect some form of Rapture might come out soon.
  8. The future is already here. Www.toyboxaudio.com
  9. They updated Reaktor to 6.3
  10. Was it just my system, or was there no sound on that?
  11. Never mind, process/length works.
  12. I was trying to make a backing track so that my son could practice "Iron Man" to just the bass and drum track. I found a couple of midi files that sounded promising, but each had some parts that were right and some that were wrong. So I thought I would try and stitch together the parts I like. At this point, I have a midi file which is mostly right, but I like the drums better on another one. The problem is that one file is at 76 BPM, where the other is a half time 152 BPM. Is there a way to process a clip so that the timing of the notes is halved or doubled?
  13. Isn't 2.9 coming out in a couple of months?
  14. For those who have FX Pro, it is a $99 upgrade to FX Pro 2 and $199 to get the Elite package.
  15. For the most part I use Rapture Classic to do editing and use Rapture Pro as more of a preset manager. Rapture Pro got off to a bad start for a variety of reasons. While I appreciate that it was like Sound Center on steroids, it didn't seem to be the upgrade to Rapture that Rapture users wanted. There were a few embarrassing bugs as well.
  16. That was quick! And something I had totally forgotten about. I actually have the old forum page up discussing the registry hack to have it not require permissions. Maybe if I can do that I can get it to run through the dxishell in some other DAWs as well.
  17. Recently I tried to create a track with Pentagon I in CWBL. It gave me some odd message saying something like it was not installed properly. I pulled out my X3 installer and reinstalled that plugin but ended up with the same message. Of course, it works fine in Sonar Platinum. Any Idea why it works fine there but not in Cakewalk by Bandlab?
  18. I installed this and wondered why half the patches were missing samples, until I saw there was a second part to download.
  19. I'm looking forward to checking out those new Kontakt libraries.
  20. Wasn't Kinetic Treats a holiday giveaway a few years ago?
  21. Me too. Unfortunately a. Pentagon is DXi only. b. Has a few glitches c. For some reason it just has not been working for me lately. Perhaps I need to dig up one of my old installers.
  22. I'm not sure I want it for drums, but from the video it sounds pretty good for guitar and piano.
  23. Cakewalk never had that many of the cool kids in their corner either. The next big thing never seemed to be using Cakewalk products. They had to trot out guys like someone who won a Grammy for Best Native American Album, or the guy who won season 1 of "The Voice".
