Thanks Lars - that is now almost 150 GB of sounds they've given away over the past 18 months or so.

I can confirm 2/8 can't be opened with Winzip (I tried all three mirrors).  7Zip opened it successfully.

Thank Larry.  I had 6 or so plugins that were updated.  No issues.

I think their newer plugin UIs are pretty good I think.  The Flow Motion UI is controversial, but I think its great.  I agree wholeheartedly however, on their preset browsers - they stink across their whole line of plugins (at least the ones I have).

The biggest benefit to me of Komplete Kontrol is a one stop VST Host for those VSTis that don't have a standalone version.  I can bring up any synth I have and add any effect I want to it.  Quicker to me than bringing up Cubase, making a blank project, adding a track, etc.

@Tiger The Frog   - all EW libaries come with a copy of Play.  Most come with Play 5, but some of the newer ones (Hollywood Choirs, for example) come with Play 6.  

I just picked it up.  Well worth 8$!

@Fleer, do you have UVI World Suite?  Just wonder how it compares. 

Especially when there is so many other great options (CSS, Spitfire, Orchestral Tools, etc.) out there!

Of note that it only checks official UVI products (not surprising), and I'm not sure if it checks the version of UVI Workstation.

It also doesn't gracefully handle products that are in multiple bundles.  For example, I had VV1, and upgraded to VV2.  Even though some of the products are actually installed in VV2, it claims they aren't in VV1.  Still some work to do (it is a version 1.01), but a great step.

Love the UVI products, but man their update procedures were bad.  

Dealio.  You can't even buy U-He products second hand for these prices.
