  1. Yes, it might be less transparent than Nimbus and have that Lexicon DNA in it but from what I've read that algorithmic DNA is specifically tailored for orchestral stuff. Actually, I think I watched one of the Spitfire guys using it for his orchestral work.
  2. I've read somewhere that R4 is the best EA reverb for orchestral material, you may try and give it a go.
  3. A few weeks 😱😱😱 I'm deep in the wood! But... well deserved, indeed 👍
  4. Still nobody knows how long this unauthorized holiday will take? I see trees, everywhere trees.
  5. Well then mathematically, of these 2 chances for upgrade, I should have one within the next two years 😂😂🤣
  6. Yes, it's this erratic EastWest sale where everything is on sale, but upgrades 🤔
  7. Actually it's on v1.06 atm.
  8. Thanks. Is this one of those sales where upgrades are excluded... as usual?
  9. um... is there anything urgent in the update that could make me want to update Play? oh, I may search for the info as well... thanks
  10. Didn't see a word on MIDI mentioned anywhere regarding the new Studio One 5. I'm too producing in MIDI mainly and need my DAW to deliver the best in that department so I'm focused only on Cubase as a second DAW in addition to Cakewalk. SO is a nice looking and easy to use DAW but for people like us Cakewalk or Cubase seem to be the best route.
  11. Watched the live vid. From a cakewalk user perspective... She's Got the Look
  12. LOL a new korg nano from presonus was the biggest announcement and they bundled it with the Artist, I'm not even going to check the price
  13. Yeah, I'm on v4 and don't plan to upgrade anytime soon.
  14. impressive feature set... notes pan spreading should be a standard feature in every sampled piano out there
  15. Thanks, I would think so, but the context suggests the opposite. And having years of experience with Windows, I could see it having bad impact on the system performance when disabling paging even with huge RAM memory, who knows. And this may even change from update to update.
  16. you mean when I disable paging or leave it enabled?
  17. in addition to what martin says above, you can control other things the same way, it's called quick grouping, just watch the yellow (orange?) dot appearing by the controls the moment you touch one with the mouse while holding down ctrl key there is also the regular grouping function, you can create groups by right-clicking on the controls, it's even more flexible, yo can make the controls move in absolute or relative way or even reverse if you like, set your start- and end-points btw you can quick-select tracks just by clicking on one track's number and swiping over the rest, same goes with mute, solo etc
  18. LOL it's been ages since I watched these... 🤣🤣
  19. and another Larry's job done... well done mibby
  20. Take all my money! Wait a minute, I don't have any money at the moment... oh, forget it.
  21. Is the vocal pack worth the 'hassle' of setting up a free trial account?
  22. No, I was talking the difference between 11.2.1 and previous Lite v10, they seem very close.
  23. The update happened automatically in my account. I guess I will have to go through the 600+ pages of manual of both versions and compare the content.
