That's exactly what I was doing for years starting with version 3 of Cakewalk professional (for windows 3.1) that one particularly was very reliable in handling MIDI.

Is that regarding the free version as well, Zinc?

Missed the first one too.

analog media...? ?

Thanks

Oh that would be adding ca. 300 plugins to the other 600 already there, or vice versa . Building from scratch is probably not taken into account... lol I'm, like you, starting to see no advantage. Thanks again.

Thanks for confirming this, Steve. How to do it? If I open from plugin browser it's showing only one category. Is there a use for it? For example have them displayed separately in Cakewalk as effects of synths depending on what I select, like it is now, but keep them in a single layout file? Hopefully updating it with new plugins in future won't delete anything, say I want add an effect and save the layout, then the synths won't be deleted.

I'm thinking about creating my own layout, never did it before. After doing some tests and reading help file I noticed that if I add a new plugin my layout is not updated. Do I have to update manually each time I'm adding new plugins? Second question, I couldn't find a way to create single layout for both the fx and the instruments plugins. Is there a way or I have to keep two separate layouts?

All MeldaProduction plugins updated to 14.05 and MSuperLooper released
chris.r replied to Larry Shelby's topic in Deals
You're most welcome Starship, yeah the AAS installer is one of the most paranoid I think. Another fun is when you're cleaning up your hard drive from 32bit, AAX and all the other unwanted plugins to save another few more bytes on your precious SSD because, you know, you can only have as much space. So when you delete for example anything from NI or XLN, their download manager will mark those products as corrupted and when you hit 'repair' it, it will literally populate your disk with all that garbage again... and that's it! I think the most bizzare installer was a drum plugin from StudioLinked. First I have carefully selected the correct path for 64-bit vst plugin and told the installer to put the 32bit version in my system temp folder by precisely inputting the full path. Next it placed it's 32-bit plugin in my 64-bit Vstplugin folder and the 64bit plugin in an arbitrary folder that he created somewhere in 'Program Files'... Whoah! No way it could be found without scanning the whole system disk . -

AAS installer created Vstplugins folder even in c:\program files\native instruments I'm telling you go check there... Edit: if you're on 64bit windows dont forget the 'program files (x86)' folders as well -
Larry is that your fist plugin-baby? From the brand name it sounds like you own it.

Lets talk SOUNDFONTs .. a trip back in time inc link to lots of them
chris.r replied to aidan o driscoll's topic in Deals
have a look at this http://www.synthfont.com/ -
I think I was aware of Metic Halo (what I tried was dramactially overpriced and not great) Xils - I have the computer music version of the modular synth and it thankfully doesnt' have that limitaiton. Zynapitq I'll just stay clear of. ? All 3 companies pricing structures suggest they are no "in tune" with the current music production environment. All overpriced and limited liscencing. (My opinion) I have Hollywood Strings and Brass silver editions and they are also only 1 authorization allowed (ilok local machine in my case, makes it even less versatile) which I find very lame unfortunately because I have a laptop and now another new desktop pc. Now this PhoenixVerb... mixed feelings.

Stereo clip or track to two mono tracks, AND ...
chris.r replied to Jon White's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
If I need to split stereo file to two mono, or combine 2 mono into single stereo file, I can do it very easily in Wavelab. But, sure I'd wish to have one-click split/combine in Cakewalk, it's just such a fundamental task in audio editing. -
Price is not meh with the voucher, but I already have so many great compressors that I'd rather save my $14,99. Tempted, but still not enough to get me in ?.

Cannot make the link to work . Is this the same synth as here?:
