I Am forced to cut my Becan into half servings and freeze for future use

Thought, and maybe a stupid one: how about minced bacon?
Mixed with mashed potatoes & maybe wrapped in flatbread?
Hmmm....🤔

I Am "that " guy today: Actually she´s swedish, you can hear it in the accent when she says Skål + her YT-info makes it very obvious.
In case anyone wonders - yes everyone in the nordic countries go bathing (au naturel, off course) in frozen lakes in the winter ......😉😄

That looks nice and is definitely worth trying out, thanks @Brian Walton😊

It´s a pity CW stopped development of Soundstage, i.e. not making a 64-bit version, because it was a brilliant plugin IMO.
There are great sounding newer reverbs out there but ifaik none let´s you place the instruments/players in the room like Soundstage did.

My .02$
Ilok is good if you use several different computers, if you only use on - it´s kind of pointless for the user. Some companies´ install + activation process (like Izotope) are a bit quirkier than others - while Slate was very smooth IMO.
Anyway, IMO the modern Ilok is a lot better than some of the other antipiracy protection variants we´ve seen the last 20-25 years, remember the AAS Tassman 2(or was it 3?) which was locked to the specific computer and couldn´t be moved? That said, I´ve been in touch with Izotope´s support regarding their Product Portal, which isn´t as smooth as it could be, I mentioned good ol´ Cakewalk Command Center and Native Access as good examples of how things could be smoother for the user.
For instance why can´t you just mark the FX you want to install and have a "silent install and activation"?
Why can´t all libraries for Iris be installed with the synth, i.e. click "install all" or just the marked alternatives?
Why aren´t the Exponential Audio FX included in the portal?
The guy who (very politely) answered promised to pass my thoughts on to the development team for product portal.
I suggest that anyone who has ideas or criticism contact Izotope´s (or whichever other company it concerns) support, if they don´t see/hear any constructive criticism from the users - why would they try or know how to improve?

Without song - THE MILITARY BAND OF THE ROYAL SCOTS DRAGOON GUARDS - AMAZING GRACE (1972)
There's lots of versions but the original is still the best. https://youtu.be/KVjftQZ9jHA
If you dislike bagpipes there will not be any goosebumps compared to me that like them and turns into a snivelling idiot with goosebumps each time i listen to them. 🥰
For some reason bagpipes have always attracted me too, maybe it´s the rawness & a sense of "back to mankind´s roots", just maybe or because I was brought up with swedish folkmusic around me a lot of the time, or maybe I just Am a bit odd.
Apart from most of the already mentioned tunes Hendrix´ Bold as love (especially the outro solo), Where Were You(Jeff Beck), Nazareth´s Please Don't Judas Me to mention a few.

I thought the idea of using GPU-power for sound was considered more or less dead since most CPU´s (apart from the really cheap ones) today can handle more than most DAW-users need, whether GPU's can be used for audio is however still a valid question IMO.
There´s a whole lot of 3D processing power just sitting there during normal DAW-use, even if the GPU is considered a modest one by todays standards - so why not make use of it if possible?
Maybe GPU-handling of VST´s/FX is something for Bandlab/Cakewalk to look into?
Theoretically it could turn a modest gaming rig into a monster DAW.
Thanks for the newer links @Teegarden🙂- 2

I sent Izotope/Exponential´s support a report on the 7:th, no reply yet though, so I have no clue whether they´re looking into this issue or not.

Sorry to see that @kennywtelejazz, I feel for you.
I had to put my cat/vermin killer Gullan(Cuddler) to sleep 5 years ago, sometimes I still "see and hear" her in the house.

I agree 100% with @Noel Borthwick, it has never happened with any other plugins and definitely not with the ones that comes with Sonar (which I´ve used since XL) or CbB.
I´ll try to get in contact with Exponential/iZotope ASAP & suggest other users with the same issue contact them too .- 1

@Per Westin did you report it to Bandlab Support? If there is a bug in the fast export in Cakewalk it should be worth of attention.
I will now @chris.r🙂

We got the "feedback when rendering problem" here as late as today using R4 (excellent sounding reverb), I´ve experienced it earlier too & solved it by lowering the reverb level - which meant a bit more work on the mix.
Today we got the idea, since it only occurs during export, to try realtime export (i.e. not "fast bounce") - which worked fine without having to change anything else.

Good that it turned up👍, but for any loss of CW-programs/plugins later on:
If you already bought the Gate/Expander-module (or whatever program/plugin) and it´s registered it should be available for download from your account on the old CW-site - yes it still works! -
O&OSU10 + CCleaner (with CCEnhancer) is what I use along with tweaking services according to these guides:
BlackViper (also has Services Explained) and (partly Windows) Tweakhound , as always if you´re not sure if what happens if you turn off service "xyz" - don´t, or at least turn off one service at a time so if there´s a problem you know which tweak caused it.From memory I think I tweaked according to Blackviper´s "Tweaked for Desktop" last time I reinstalled W10 about 3 years ago, no problems so far.
Back when Vista was new Tweakhound´s tweaks turned my Core2Duo laptop from barely internetable to recording 16 tracks (soundcards limit) and handling at least 30 tracks in Sonar.
Does O&OSU10 affect DAW or plugins?
Not directly, but it can keep your computer safe from mistakes or not so good for DAW:s MS-updates. -
I use this program O&O to make sure my computer doesn´t update unless I want it to, one thing that really was irritating was when MS decided that I "needed" a service called "Connected Devices Platform Service" (CDPSvc, intended to syncronize documents and stuff like email between say desktop, ipad and cellphone) and a couple of services connected to it.
These have all been turned on again after each update, with new suffixes each time.
I started looking into it since the computer felt somewhat sluggish and when I finally managed to turn them off (changing start type in the registry) it was like lifting a wet blanket from the mouth or removing a backpack from an olympic swimmer.
New services may be good, but whether they should be on or off should be decided by the user according to hers/his needs, not MS, I paid for a fully functioning OS and bought pretty expensive hardware & do not use any connected devices.
I turn off everything but Windows Defender and "Disable password reveal button", when for some reason it feels like it´s time to update I switch "Automatic updates" on and do Windows search for updates.

Apart from making the Audio Engine dropout immediately after hitting apply/OK in preferences, everything runs smoothly after resetting the ThreadSchedulingModel value to 2.
I´m testing with ThreadSchedulingModel value to 3 and Load Balancing off, which seems to work so far.
The current 25-track project doesn´t use any software instruments, PC and Boz on all tracks and some Izotope plugins on the buses.

I assume they will optimize and update it, so I´d register and download anyway if I saw any future potential in it - free (almost) always tastes nice.

Just a word of caution in case users suddenly get CbB-crashes.
I installed Ciel last night, seems like a nice plugin, but it (at least it seems like it) didn´t play nicely with iZotope´s plugins. As soon as I tried opening or adding a iZotope plugin caused crashes in a previously working CbB project, I also tried it in SPlat with the same result.
Since Ciel was the only new thing added I simply removed it´s files from the VST-folder & eureka(!) - problem solved.
I also got what sounded like swing/internal feedback (in hardware) when using the "GoldenRod positioner" and the same thing with the Eq-section - I assume this is not by intention.Apart from the above I liked it.

Nope AFAIK, but the Competitive Crossgrade to Pro seems ok IMO, click the Buy Cubase link & Pro 11 to see requirements & pricing.
