  1. This is the official line on availability of this deal: β€œAs for this CineBrass Complete deal, it will only be available until 12pm California time today, Thursday November 3rd.”
  2. No idea, although I suspect it will require a lot of disk space!
  3. https://cinesamples.com/productBundle/cinebrass-complete-bundle The bundle is for these 5: CineBrass PRO CineBrass CORE CineBrass Descant Horn CineBrass Sonore CineBrass Horns of the Deep The voucher is Allbrass199
  4. Direct from Uhe on KVR: "Sure, buying from resellers is fine. Note that resellers have been asked to remove Zebra2 from their shops in the next few days."
  5. U-he's legacy seemingly is total confusion. πŸ˜„
  6. $155 at Thomann if you don’t pay tax https://www.thomannmusic.com/u_he_zebra2.htm
  7. Z2 is cheaper here at $155 depending on whether you pay tax: https://www.thomannmusic.com/u_he_zebra2.htm
  8. I did get one of those freebies but no longer have it. Probably for the best or I might be tempted to buy this! πŸ˜„
  9. It would be helpful if they stated whether the free LITE version is also encoded to work with Kontakt Player as is the paid for version. Nice to have access to a Lite version that is over 2.3GB anyway.
  10. Just marketing BS where they make it look as if this is an offer, when in fact it's just regular Upgrade/Update pricing. Although judging by all the negativity around K14, I wouldn't be amazed if they put it on sale earlier than normal next year.
  11. Referral links aren't allowed according to the sticky. Although I vote a special dispensation for you due to services rendered.
  12. I bought it with the code yesterday as did others at VIC.
  13. I have noticed more recently that some people are using referral links, so are those allowed? There have been a lot of 8Dio and Soundpaint links of this type, although more on VIC and KVR than here. In this case they get an account credit rather than money. Not sure how it works with other vendors. It doesn't bother me when regular posters include them when they post a deal, but I have recently seen people on VIC open an account and immediately start posting them.
  14. For anyone struggling to get their list of installed plugins over a thousand, this is a great deal! There's a heck of a lot in there for the money, but is it a case of quantity over quality? I have never tried their gear.
  15. They still have Symphony & Stratus which I think are the flagship reverbs anyway and already ported to native Apple Silicon. In terms of reverbs, they have trimmed the range back which is not a surprise. But retiring all the other reverbs plus Iris, BreakTweaker and Trash at the same time, is a shock.
  16. I owned the MIDI version of this in the late 80s I think. Not very popular at the time so it only cost me about $150. Certainly an unusual design for the time.
  17. I picked up a Launchpad Pro MK3 in a recent sale and was very pleased. Great condition, full warranty and the full software bundle.
  18. The OEM version is usually found on KVR and VI-C for $10 or less.
  19. If you have an NI $25 voucher, it works apparently. There may be spare ones floating around due to there being a new version of Komplete recently released.
  20. They generally have different types of sales, some of which are on full versions and some on Updates/Upgrades/CrossGrades. So it will probably come around again.
  21. No idea, but I have an unused one if you want one. Not sure if you will need to create a new NI account to be able to use it though!
  22. Isn't this one of those VSTs that has been bundled with hardware, meaning there are loads of them on KVR for ten bucks or so?
  23. That was a shocker for me, I think my eyebrows raised in amazement. πŸ˜„ Maybe there are people that hate changing tools so much that they'd rather pay a subscription than change? It seems to be subscription only now and comes with a bunch of extra features: "The World's #1 Compression and File Sharing Software Suite." The irony is that I pay only a bit more for Office 365 Family than they charge for WinZip Standard Suite and less than they charge for the WinZip Pro Suite.
  24. I haven't used it enough to give you decent feedback but the anecdotal evidence suggests it's fairly CPU heavy. Certainly to the level where it's worth giving it a good test if you are a demanding user. As someone who's projects are fairly light and for whom it came in a bundle, it wasn't an issue for me either way.
  25. VIC forum was all over that last year when 8Dio had their "10 years of sales glitches" anniversary; I paraphrase a bit. I picked up the Studio Series Fire Trumpet and Santur for under $40 and got Anthology for free. I wouldn't have minded if the glitch hadn't worked as I was happy to pay that price for those two instruments. The bigger deal for me was The New Century Brass Bundle (Ensemble and Solo) for $111, with Century Strings v2 Bundle as the freebie. That's just nuts really and together they cover a lot of bases.
