Only if you have it manually setup to mirror the amount of RAM you have which is wasteful. The more RAM you have the less you need a page file.

They probably do but the cost is off putting. You can buy 15TB U.2 or U.3 enterprise drives that you can use in a PCIe 4x slot with a cheap adapter. They start at about 2.5k and the 7.5TB versions start around 1k. That's for the Samsung PM9A3 which is 7TB/s, TLC, 1DWPD. No cooling issues either due to the larger form factor. These are overlooked by consumers as the consumer boards don't have any U.2 slots. That's what I would buy if looking for an 8TB drive for a desktop.

TB is Intel tech, it's just that Apple are the highest profile user. Intel has given away TB3 to the USB consortium, which is why USB4 when implemented to the highest level offers the same features. TB4 does offer some extra features and none of them are optional. That's one of its advantages as you don't have to check the small print as you do with USB.

$200 for 2x PCIe 3.0 4x does seem underwhelming in 2022. You can buy a 1x PCIe 4.0 4x adapter for about $15. With the money saved you can buy a decent PCIe 4.0 SSD. The advantage of the dual card is that you can mix cheap PCIe 3.0 drives for higher capacity. But in many cases the overall cost will be higher, so unless you really want the RAID features it seems niche. Plus, does this offer better RAID than your motherboard?

Softube Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555 48 Hr. Flash Sale

They should have offered 70% off to match the Queen’s recent 70th jubilee. -
So can you add a bunch of these to your cart with their individual codes and also at the end add a 50 or 75 dollar voucher? Obviously the total needs to be appropriately high for the voucher you have. Asking for a friend.

I buy mid to high end air coolers because you have the headroom to run them silently or very quietly provided you don’t buy a power guzzling CPU. If you undervolt that helps with noise also.

If you are in the UK and possibly other countries, Samsung are running a promotion. You can trade in any unworking HDD/SSD for up to £100 off an SSD. Managed to grab a 4TB QVO for a net £156. Bought an ancient 80GB SATA drive from a local tech exchange for 50p to use for the exchange. Free to send it to Samsung also. Shame the 8TB version is excluded as could have bought one for a net £280. Basic drives, but at these prices I have no complaints.

Are license transfers even eligible for the Group Buy? I have presumably been able to use freebies in the past as I was given one for the recent synth GB. An acquaintance gave me a license out of the blue and it worked. There are people selling cheap licences that they advertise as being eligible and based on their feedback records I believe them. Oh, the ethical dilemma of it all.

Well you gotta feed the developers something.

System requirements: Free KONTAKT PLAYER or KONTAKT (Version 6.2 or higher).

As a reminder, I recommend deauthorizing certain software as even if you clone the O/S drive, some authorisation tools will recognise that the hardware has changed and you will no longer be authorised. This is an issue for licences that have to be deauthorised on the hardware they are licensed to rather than from any system. iLok is one that have this clause I think and you can lose an activation unless you go back and do it on the original hardware/OS. (I was beaten to it).

I departed the Waves gravy boat a year or two ago. Fortunately I wasn’t in with them more than a few fathoms, so it was painless to get back on dry land.

I hadn’t realised that I have had this since May. They probably added it to the latest version of the CreativeFX Bundle and I didn’t notice. Handy for MXXX Core users also.
-
I had something similar with the Mix and Master bundle which is why I suggested it.

I checked out some videos and will try the demo some day as I listen to ambient music on headphones which I think it will suit. Given the features it seems a steal.

Thanks guys. So a single code to redeem all the EA reverbs with ilok? I already have some so be good to be able split the bundle.
-
How many individual izotope serial numbers did you get, ignoring the EA reverbs?
-
It's possible that RX is part of PPS so there is no separate serial number. Have you installed it and then tried to activate it?

I am not surprised as they always seemed to have the flakiest license management system. They use parchment and an abacus apparently.
