  1. Change the MIDI key note from F#3 to C#3. Sadly, if you are using pure MIDI files, this setting will not be saved and you'll have to reset it each time.
  2. Pink Floyd...Dark Side of the Moon! Do I win any Money?
  3. You're not alone. We're in this together. I too, went through that frustrating scenario!
  4. I think the touch pad can be used like a slider.
  5. Well, it works on my box with a standard midi file so I don't think it's a bug. And there's not much you can do that's 'wrong'. The problem must be elsewhere. Maybe it's one of these settings:
  6. Have you run disk cleanup to reclaim space on your C_Drive? As a desperate, last gasp, work around, you can delete other applications from the C_Drive and install them to the D_Drive. Maybe then the C_Drive will have enough room.
  7. Maybe sound-fonts aren't as archaic as some people imagine.
  8. This site: http://coolsoft.altervista.org/en/virtualmidisynth Has a software synthesizer that uses sound fonts. It also has links to about 15 free sound fonts.
  9. Have you tried an adapter like this one? https://www.amazon.com/M-Audio-UNO/dp/B00007JRBM/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=M-Audio+Midisport+Uno&qid=1586618561&s=musical-instruments&sr=1-1 Note: I also had a cheap one but it didn't handle pitch bends at all so it went into the trash.
  10. Do you mean an automatic wah-wah....also known as an envelop generator? Those must go very early in the effects chain because they rely on a sharp volume attack to modify the tone. If the tone is steady, the effect can't work.
  11. Because no one likes blue balls? Hey, I think I just came up with the title for a country western song!
  12. OK enough, I'm getting key bored. Well, one more:
  13. I could list many things I find irksome about Microsoft and Windows but still....that is a weird combination.
  14. I was cleaning the lint, hair, gunk, etc from the bottom of my filthy mouse and noticed there were two side buttons. All these years and I never noticed them before...weird. I found they were for navigating in browsers...they did the Next and Prev buttons. Then I found they could be remapped. If you download and install X-Mouse Button Control, you can remap buttons on an application basis to just about anything. I remapped buttons 4 and 5 to the Previous and Next Marker keyboard shortcuts. Sweet!
  15. It is irksome when the flames of panic are fanned by reports that older people are at higher risk. Of course they are! They are more easily killed off by ANY disease including the common flu.
  16. I liked that! The whammy bar was used really tastefully.
  17. So, you don't choose to be an assho1e. You just are one. Got it.
  18. I'm thinking bagpipe musicians don't really have to worry about drawing a crowd. So they should be exempt.
  19. That was an insult. A very childish one.
