My eyes have gotten worse with age. I can totally see where your coming from. That BassDrive plug in does have some nice fonts. What really impresses me is its light blue/off white background, the black fonts stand right out. It doesn't look aesthetically beautiful, which is what most plug in developers pride themselves on now a days (a realistic looking GUI). But in my opinion, what ever gets the job done.

I did not know this. TBH, now I feel a little embarrassed because I don't know of any plug ins that don't supply a GUI.

Think of a plug in as a totally separate program running within Bandlab/Sonar. Cakewalk has little control over font sizes, slider sizes, knob sizes, exc. So unless im missing something, You'll need to contact the developers of said plug ins, not ask Cakewalk to fix it. Or use the work around mentioned above (FX Chains). Im guessing you didn't reply to my first comment because you know (as a software developer yourself) there's nothing they can do. Waves offers some scaling in some of their plug ins as does a couple other developers.

The OP does what I do a lot, using Piano roll view along with track view to line up data. I haven't tried it yet but im thinking of trying the Inline Piano roll view. This might help with some of the "Keeping the scaling size" similar. I like your idea, but I also like having the piano roll zoomed in tight for 1/8 and 1/16 notes while preserving the track view size, so its a tough choice for me. I believe all 3rd party plugins fonts sizes are written within the code of the plug in, just as pixel size is as well

How did you copy/paste ? Using the CNTRL+C/CNTRL+V or using the copy/paste menu ? I would try again but this time, make sure you are selecting the whole clip from Beat A to Beat B. Make sure Snap is enabled.

The yellow circle is one thing, the :57 seconds is another. Im not sure these 2 things are related. I believe you might be correct.

There's nothing to be fixed. Im not sure how you are missing 57 seconds off your clip but the yellow circle you are showing in the photo is less than one second (between 7:04 and 8:01).

I agree with both reply's above. I almost always put the compressor first in the chain (Compressor>EQ). Because if you use it after, your compressing frequency's you might not want to compress. There are times though, boosting certain frequency's can add a great effect.

Someone else was just complaining of this issue. Saying that hovering over them is not giving the double sided -M- needed in order to use the delete key. is that what your seeing ? No -M- icon upon hover over ?

That can be done easily in Bandlab. I do it all the time. What did support say ?

I might not be understanding your question. Are you saying you Master, aiming for between 0 to +6 ? You should be aiming for 0db. and nothing over.

This is normal midi copy/paste behavior. Midi clips are not solid in form like audio clips, the "clip ends" only show if data is present. You can "heal" the clips by selecting both clips and choosing "Bounce to clips". Unless im misunderstanding your question. You may have snap enabled to 1/2 notes and some data cant be picked up.

The amount of CPU required is microscopic and does not increase latency in any way. Im not sure who told you that. There ARE sometimes conflicts between drivers which could pose a problem But those are only certain instances. Most users on this forum run Bandlab the same way. Use their onboard Audio enabled, their Soundcard for Sonar.

My motherboard audio is left on to monitor audio from YouTube, Media player, exc. Haven't had any issues because Onboard Audio controls that and my 18I8 uses its own independent speakers. This way I can also play along with You Tube while using my 18I8, thus using both soundcards simultaneously. No extra latency that I can see. I would give it a shot.

I have an 18I8 as well and have never had an issue like this. I power up my PC. I then power up my 18I8 (and my Mackie Control) and then Power up Sonar/Bandlab. Im guessing it is directly correlated with the AMD RX 580

I know it’s not exactly what you want but have you tried the Custom module?

You might want to consider looking into a Monitor controller for these different speaker set ups. I use 3 pairs of speakers and I use a Mackie Big knob.

I believe you can go to... C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core and check the time stamp.

You have input echo engaged ? Try wiggling the headphone jack ? Is it a phantom powered mic ?
