Hey people So... they should never have joined the Plugin Alliance in the first place. Deskew had that deal before I joined the Gig Performer team, but as far as I can tell - yes, you're right. Gig Performer developers are very honest people and their only wish was to have the same pricing for all costumers (except 50% academic discount, for accredited teacher and students). It turned out to be ... quite different ... unfortunately. We didn't know anything about the vouchers and stuff, the devs really don't bother with that stuff. In their book, the price is the same. We become aware of this when support tickets arrived and we saw that there are people that bought Gig Performer even at ridiculously low prices (unfortunately). So this is now removed: We regret that we are unable to process cross-grades for Plugin Alliance orders that were deeply discounted ... You can find many free arpeggiators, for instance. Depending on what you want to automate there may be other approaches, as well. For example you can use a single MIDI file to switch sounds automatically, send PC events, CC events, etc. etc.

Saved gig files are saved gig files, i.e. they have nothing to do with the trial expiration. You can open every gig file that was created when using a trial on the fully licensed Gig Performer. There is no point in merging templates, just google for "Gig and Rackspace files", and you'll find 100+ downloadable files created by GP community users. As for the routing options on Windows, check the Gig Performer blog, one of recent articles wrote about single-client drivers and routing audio to different places.

The Plugin Alliance edition is (almost) completely independent, they'll have their own pricing options, subscription models, bundles, and other stuff that you used to see from them (vouchers, sales, etc.). What you see in the first post applies to the regular edition of Gig Performer.
