  1. @Jorge Tata Arias as I understand it cancel your current monthly, then when it should renew, renew as an annual. I don't know for sure as I never went with the monthly option.
  2. Normally you would use a drum sampler.
  3. @AB9 as @John Vere says you can set these in a Workspace. Either pick one, Workspace, make your changes and save the Workspace with a new name, or you can build a custom Workspace for yourself. Just remember if you make a change you must save it.
  4. Are you saying the envelopes are bring reassigned between sessions. I have had envelopes become orphaned, but that has not happened in years now. Have you reported it support@cakewalk.com?
  5. @Astraios have you viewd what other options exist. That indicates what you are editing, normally you would have selected it yourself, are you saying it is completely random?
  6. Have you, @Heinz Hupfer tried opening in safe mode?
  7. @John Vere to clarify SONAR X3 is part of the intellectual property purchased by Bandlab Technologies.
  8. Ripple edit is designed to help move stuff. To move, say your entire project four bars, so you add a four bar intro. 1. Enable Ripple edit all. 2. From the project menus select insert time and measures. Place the now time cursor at the point you want to insert those 4 measures. 3. In the box enter 4, ensure all options are ticked, click OK 4. Disable Ripple edit all. (You will regret it if you don't)
  9. @Al Murray first thing in Preferences deselect Zero MIDI controllers on stop or is it rewind can't remember, it is one of those. Do you actually have the correct Patch and Bank set in the Patch and Bank selection of the track in Sonar? If not there is just a chance it can reset to Patch 1 Bank 1. You have presumably add an instrument definition for the Juno?
  10. The optimum way to do this is with Ripple edit. Either Ripple edit all, to move the entire project forwards or even backwards. Or Ripple edit selected. Slide does not always move automation.
  11. @Amberwolf it clearly states in the bit you quote that Cakewalk Sonar and CbB will open Cakewalk WRK & CWP files which are the file extensions used for Cakewalk Projects. At no point do I say that the Projects created inbthe Web based app Bandlab can open Cakewalk WRK or CWP files. You also miss the fact that using the Cakewalk transfer app Cakewalk Sonar and CbB Projects can be opened in Bandlab as can Bandlab Projects be opened in Cakewalk Sonar and CbB.
  12. Somewhat incorrect @Amberwolf Cakewalk Sonar and CbB will open any Cakewalk WRK or CWP file going back to the DOS days.
  13. @WPP are you using the same template? This is not a problem I am seeing here.
  14. Thank you sir, most kind.
  15. @Dana Moore what size screen are you using. SONAR Platinum does not have variable size graphics screen? I am not sure how they can change during a session. Only Windows, the OS, has scalable text sizes. Are you talking about Cakewalk SONAR Platinum from 9 years ago? Or the new Cakewalk Sonar?
  16. Thank you Nigel, I will take a TD association anytime, a constant inspiration. Synths used. Gforce Oberheim VST3, TVS Pro, OB-1, OB-X, SEM, OB-E(The eight voice) and drums the DMX. A little parallel compression from Boz Digital David Bendeth +10dB compressor, on a couple of voices, including the DMX. Some global reverb from Overloud's Breverb, all other FX and EQ stock Cakewalk Sonar or S-Plat.
  17. Thank you sir, glad you enjoyed the vibe. Gforce has done a remarkable job of capturing the essence of Mr Oberheim's designs.
  18. @Xel Ohh no you are not. What other options do you get. I normally get Google and Facebook. I just use what I have always used, username & Password. The select Google, it then just uses my original Bandlab signon. I know this to be correct because my Bandlab password is nothing like Google and certainly nothing like Facebook.
  19. @Cobus Prinsloo where are you making the velocity edits? Each SS lane can be expanded to reveal additional controls.
  20. Due to your unnecessary personal attacks on the staff there is only one option, but to lock your post. Now if you would like to post again, with a better attitude, giving actual details of your systems issues, along with details of your computer, CPU, make model, RAM, sound card, etc we might be able to help. On a side note CbB, Cakewalk Sonar & Cakewalk Next all run fine on two different PC 's for me one running Windows 10 the other Windows 11. In the 33 years of using Cakewalk products I can honestly say I have never had a serious issue.
  21. My thanks Ross.
  22. Firstly Cakewalk by Bandlab is free, consequently there is no charge to use it. Only if you want the functionality provided by Cakewalk Sonar will you be required to pay. Try this log out of Bandlab from within CbB. Log out of Bandlab in your browser. Reboot your PC, start CbB, under Help use the option to log into Bandlab. At this point it is really important that you use exactly the same username, password and method to log back in.
  23. I read it OK. Perhaps my interpretation of what you was saying was inexact, due to your terminology. I obviously incorrectly thought by track pane you were referring to FX bin of the track or FX bin of the clip, silly me. As Colin notes please define what you mean by track pane! An FX can be in two places in the FX bin of the whole track or the FX bin of the clip. If you delete a clip with an FX in the clips FX bin, then the FX is going to be deleted as well, as Colin notes.
