  2. For anyone who was still seeing banner ads at the top of the forum, these should be gone now, too.

  3. Guys, this is not intentional, we'll figure this out ASAP - I'm getting it as well.

  4. Sorry about that everyone, we were doing some Ad Tech work on our other media sites and for some reason this proliferated across Discuss! Should be fully resolved now.

  5. Ha! Now I have a pop up from an online dating site that says "You have a match!" Who says these ads are not relevant? Meeting women is the whole reason I got into music in the first place.? Thanks, Bandlab!

  6. Nothing hacked ? it was a setting we were testing on another site of ours that unexpectedly applied itself on all sites hosted with that infrastructure.

  7. I was thinking: wouldn't be great to be able to call saved lenses without it resulting in emptying the current screenset? So, if I have lens 5 as mixing view, for example, calling it when I am on screenset1, would leave the latter with that new screen setup. That way, when I switch to another screenset, I could go back to the mixing view as I left it in screenset 1. As it is today, by using lenses we can not use screenset, unless we re-define them for each project. By calling a lens, the screenset is emptied, and you can not set it, duplicate it or doing anything other than calling other ones, resulting in wiping out the current UI configuration set by the lens .

  8. A quiet Sunday night in 1953. The Dodgers had just won the pennant. J.F.K. and Jacqueline Bouvier had just married. And four titans of bebop came together in a dive bar for a rare jam session. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/08/nyregion/thelonius-monk-charlier-parker.html

  9. Dude, I'm sorry. That was sarcasm. Although I did not say banned, I said admonished. I also said you should get paid.

  10. It's not part of your post. It's a Google ad appearing in the wrong place on top of your post.

  16. I see them now. On mine they are relegated to the top and not too intrusive.

  18. Thanks Meng! Somehow I felt it was unintentional. It wouldn't be the first time a forum got hacked or such.

  20. I am on windows 7 laptop using Firefox and have never seen any ads at all on this forum and there are none now so I have no idea what you guys are experiencing or where they are coming from. Correction: There is one at the top of the home forum page and at the top of first level topics, none on posts etc. Don't know if that was there before or is new.

  21. A few people asked me "what is the difference between MRhythmizer and MRhythmizerMB"? In this video I'll try to answer that by showing some things that can only be done using MRhythmizerMB. It really is a great tool for adding some extra rhythmic interest to a part that might otherwise be a bit boring. I hope you find this useful.

  23. Defraggler is excellent on a normal HD - just don't run it on an SSD! Hopefully Defraggler is clever enough not to bother trying on an SSD, but just in case... don't, else you'll wear it out prematurely for practically no gain.

  24. I've disabled AdBlock on this site just to see if I saw any of these ads, and nope, nada. Amusing given my diligence about disabling the Windows 10 firewall and Windows Defender realtime scanning.

  25. I'm wondering whether the ads were an unintended byproduct of a site upgrade. I've just noticed some new enhancements.

  29. Where is this from? Is this what some are saying? Because the resolution is so bad I cannot see which thread this is from but I most certainly did not post the picture shown? If this is a sign of bad security here I'm afraid I'm not about to hang around and get abuse for having someone change my posts.

  36. The && operator only works on two expressions, which is why they're nested, as there's 3 conditions: So if you change "(&& (== Note.Vel 0) (== Note.Dur 0))" to "(== Note.Dur 0)", it should pick out all notes of a duration of zero. You still need the (== Event.Kind NOTE) as you only want it to affect notes. So the adjusted code would look like: (forEachEvent (if (&& (== Event.Kind NOTE) (== Note.Dur 0)) (delete) ) )

  37. Hi there. AIR Music has Transfuser 2 which was used in Pro Tools to slice beats, make drum samples, etc. Transfuser 2 I've got it on Plugin Boutique and still using it in my DAWs. I would like also to share my TouchOSC layout for it. I'll be doing some update soon. I've set drum pads (MIDI ch. 10) with 3 rotaries, 6 smart knobs and main section with Master Pitch and Master Volume. Layout link: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Au2bDwwlo47ogpF768qzbvhJoK9vEw

  38. Buy a copy of Computer Music Magazine (digital download, $3.99 to $4.99), and get the Frontier CM. Not as good as Adaptive limiter, but still excellent!

  39. And.....breathe. Wow there's a lot of words to sing there. Great stuff both of you. Story draws you in and the music and performances are great. Can't comment on the mix right now as I'm out and about listening on my phone. I'll have another listen later.

  40. Hey, Bjorn and Lynn, Very cool collaboration, guys!? Great "storytelling" style writing, clever lyrics and a nice clean, modern sounding mix! Excellent instrumental performances, and Lynn's vocals were fantastic and perfect for the song! I think you guys invented a whole new musical genre, "Country-Electronica"!? Top notch work, guys, really good stuff!? Have a great weekend! Bob

  42. There is something about this song I really like. I cant put my finger on it because it sounds like there is a timing problem within the verses. but it all fits together nice. Very experimental (especially in the vocals/background overlaying vox track), I personally love that. That guitar work is great. the bending parts in (the intro and before the verses). Thanks for the listen.

  43. Bjorn, thanks again for inviting me into this project. I was immediately taken by the story, and it came together thanks to your patience and flexibility. I'd like to thank Paul for his comments and time, too. If I can be of help...

  44. I believe if you 'alt-click' on a bus to select it it will select the tracks and other buses that are routed to it. It may be 'ctrl-click' but it is one of those. If you send to a bus then that takes a copy of the signal and sends it to the bus. You could still have the output of the track going to a different bus. This allows you to send some of the tracks signal into say, a reverb bus. Then each track to which you want to apply that reverb can have a send to that bus with its own individual level of reverb.
