  2. I tried a simple piano phrase and a staccato string phase on a second track with an articulation with a -300ms delay on each track here and this played fine. All notes on both track played with their correct respective velocities and controllers ( I used CC10 on the string track to alternate the string panning as part of the test) Synths used Arturia Piano V3 and 8DIO Strings anthology. The articulation map started before any MIDI events in their respective tracks and the articulation map durations were for their entire respective phrases. This is with the latest Sonar 2025.7 build 63
  3. I don't use it, but it still shows as a regional effect for me.
  4. Hi there everyone.. just had to get this off my chest...I switched to the free version of Sonar and I get the timed upgrade to premium version window for about 13 seconds before actually jumping into Sonar, but I am hoping the bakers will remove the little strip at the top of the views showing Free edition and upgrade to premium since to me it kind of takes away some of the real estate of the views. Jumping off soap box now...:)
  5. Yesterday
  6. There's are maybe about 10 color schemes. Mercury color scheme is pretty good, i just want to tweak it some like i did when we had a theme editor. Can this be done
  7. Odd that I don't have that. GoncaloL doesn't and it's $44 I think I might pass even at $44. I got 50% off from UVI - for one item so went with another Falcon expansion Plus Orange Tree Group buy. I can't feed all of the kids.
  8. Attention @Jonathan Sasor As per conversation in another thread. Thought it better to start fresh. Main Desktop - On a fresh install on a brand new OS build with only Sonar X3 and Platinum previously installed. I installed the Cakewalk Product Centre. Log in using John Vere account ( no membership) I installed Sonar, I installed Drum Replacer. As you see in the screenshot all show as up to date. Using the Free Tier version- Highlight Audio clip -Regional effects and there is no Drum Replacer. Re install Drum replacer, re boot computer etc. Check and it shows in the correct folder location. Laptop- This had Sonar installed and authorized with my other Membership Sock Monkey ( membership expires tomorrow) I installed Cakewalk Product Center and logged in using my Membership account. I installed Cakewalk, Updated Sonar and installed Drum Replacer. All show as up to date. No Drum replacer is found in both Cakewalk and Sonar. You can see by the missing Nag screen that this is a full likened version. Is Drum Replacer no longer a regional effect?
  9. for the record I just opened Sonar Platinum and it was not authorized, I had to open the " command center " for authorization.
  10. Ah, that must have been where I copied them to before trying it.
  11. Where have you been? Nope. There's quite a selection of built-in color themes; maybe one of them will take your fancy.
  12. Thanks John, Where can I find these videos? It should help me plan my way forward.
  13. Not in the Free Tier. In the Premium though. Since today.
  14. Looks like Workspaces are not supported in the free tier, either. Whatever. I'm switching to Studio One. Just got a sweet deal on that at Sweetwater.
  15. It is showing up on my laptop , with no other daws installed on it. It is not showing up on my offline studio pc. Thanks .. ms
  16. Yes, Windows Layouts. On a side note, I also deselect ’Keyboard Shortcut” and “Display Settings” (as you have done) and “Track Control Manager”.
  17. Make me realize that if you are not a frequent visitor to this forum or the Facebook groups you will probably have no clue what has happened over the past 2 years. As example I have used Waveform for more than a year now and I don’t even know if they have a user forum? The fact they just put a message in the Cakewalk toast notification is probably going to be a surprise to a lot of users for a long time to come. A lot of people don’t open software for months and even years if they are not active in creating music at the time. There will be hundreds and possibly thousands of Cakewalk users who are going to sit down a month or more from now and see the “So long it’s been good to know you “ message for the first time.
  18. This movement is driven by 6 soft synths, 3 instances of Dune and 3 instances of Zebra. These synths are orchestrated into the orchestral texture using all VSL samples. This piece was composed mostly in Cakewalk for Bandlab and ported over to Sonar for finishing the composition, mixing, recording and mastering. I hope you enjoy listening. I would say the energy is "controlled frenetic", but not too much... The score is available for those interested. PLAY Jerry https://www.jerrygerber.com
  19. Just watched this today (which probably showed up in my YouBoob feed due to listening to M above! 😆). It was pretty interesting!
  20. Nope. 2-3 seconds. I can count one Mississippe two Mississippi.
  21. Is not that Sonar is incompatible. It's just that we don't do any significant testing on it. We have limited staff and resources are spent on testing current software. I was just trying to rule out a system level issue.
  22. Because the coders "may" have changed it's font behavior. It's certainly a long shot but not totally out of their power to do, which is why I said "I wouldn't think so". It's a simple check.
  23. I've made the move to another daw. it's not you, it's me. I'm keeping the CD collection.
