The emergence of hybrid drum kits and a mix of Roland e-Drum tech and DW hardware and drums shells. I think we should not equate that disaster, which was honestly surprising considering Roland’s initial interest in hardware for DAWs. Roland and DW do really well on drums. My apologies, being a multi instrumentalist I do take some knowledge for granted.
