Cakewalk crash on project open

Hi all.

I have this issue after last update (2021.06 build 057) of cakewalk bandalab. I never have a problem until now, using Cakewalk for 20 years.

When I open a project, after loading all the vsts and vstis, or almost all of it, closes quickly, so I have reopen pressing shift  an select one by one.

I realize that an fx chain made with 3 plugins was the problem on one project, but not all the projects, if I drag and drop that fx chain to one audio track cakewalk crash, if I bypass de fx bin before drag and drop the fx chain it works and I can turn on the plugins and use it and extract from the chain, etc...

Does this happen to anyone? Is there any solution to this? because I constantly need to open old projects and now everyone has problems. Is there a way to go back to the previous version of Cakewalk bandlab?

If you haven’t emptied your download folder the older installers might still be there. I leave them there and I can go back over a year 

But I’m sure they also have them available on this web site.

Actually, @Cea - could you send your Cakewalk project file (.cwp file) to @Jonathan Sasor ?   

We've had another report of a crash on project open today, so it would be good to know if this is the same issue.

@John Vere Thank you!, I have an older version but ask for a previous version installed.

@msmcleod Thank you! I'm just downloaded Cakewalk_by_BandLab_Rollback_Setup_27.04.0.175.exe on that link and it works perfect!

I'm pretty sure that there is a problem with fx chain.

@CeaYou cant be sure of the cause until we look at it. Please send the project file and also follow instructions to get a crash dump.
Under preferences | Initialization file you can set the ExceptionHandlingSeverity to 7 and it will capture more errors if you don't get a crash dialog.

@Noel Borthwick Thanks. Ok but I try with several projects and its always the same, I can send you any of those projects and the crash dump but I already working on the previous version and I have a lot to do. please give me time to update and send the files to you. Thanks.
