@Bapu, I've listened to your music over the years and been very impressed. I'm pretty certain that you're a bassist,  right?  I know Larry's a guitarist.  Did Larry sing this or is it you or someone else?

I'm a bassist and Larry asked me to play bass on that tune. Our (active) member on the old forum Beagle (Reece) did the vocals on that one and maybe the keys. Larry did the rest (guitars, drums and mixing).

So you still have for 4 years ahead that you paid on a DAW you will probably not use?

Ya and no. I use ProTools, it's just not a joyful experience. It's not such a pain that I detest it. Just not my goto DAW.

Awesome! Great mix. I thought the vocals were just right.

FYI: for those not familiar with the genre common in metal the guitars tend to be the main focus and the vocals are usually further down in the mix surrounded by the rest of it, instead of riding on top. They're just another melodic - or depending on subgenre -  rhythmic element. Exceptions mainly being bands with an absolutely stellar vocalist like Rob Halford or Bruce Dickinson.

Thanks for the listen and the lesson Byron.

Awesome job! I'm not a huge metal fan, but the energy in this is infectious.

I guess your horse likes a different course... ?

I will say that a pair of Avid S1s with Pro Tools might change your mind, but it's an investment. ?

But then what would I do with fully integrated Presonus FP-16?  ?

Too bad this one gets cut off, I'd like to see more!

I see quite a bit already, your sentiment is understood.

And I checked and it was that price.

    Now when I log in it's € 57.14

    Some weird dynamic pricing!

Note: I do not have smart:comp (1) just other sonible plugins

I only have smart:limit and my price is € 65 but € 57.14 at checkout too

That there is a "Craig Anderton-esque" workaround, and practically the current industry standard! :)

But Imagine if everyone had free access to the same platform for exchanging entire projects? Especially beginners?

It's also what Warren Huart's "Produce Like a Pro" does with the multi-tracks he provides for members to mix. And Steven Slate too.

    So yeah.... industry standard.
