When you said "Jim helped me build my last DAW" does that mean you paid him for his parts list and then you built it yourself?
He counseled me on a parts list based on my budget and needs, I put it together and then he helped me migrate my OS, Samples Drive and Project Drive into the new build. I of course paid him for his time.

That's kinda different though: a company has a choice whether it continues to offer a payment plan; on the other hand, it's (really) quite difficult to continue paying peoples' salaries when there's nothing left in the bank.

C'mon guys. It was meant as lighthearted sarcasm. I know it is a false equivalency.

It was a pleasure to deal with Jim every step of the way and I am 100% happy with what he built for me.
He is a total professional.
Jim helped me build my last DAW. It should be good for at least 3-5 more years. After that I hope he's still in business so that I can finally buy a complete build from him.

My guess is that keeping the forever29 plan active would prevent PA from reselling a few NI and iZotope plugins
Well, my $EVA29 plan is and will remain active (until I cancel it), as it was/is grandfathered.
But so was my lifetime SPlat plan. ? -

If this was your hardware presumably laying around not being used for a year, you would consider selling it, right...
<shakes head at false equivalency>
?
Truth be told, I have sold hardware before. Only to be replaced by better hardware. And both have at times not been used for over a year.

It equals a subscription to 372$ a year for getting 12 plugins. At that price, it’s better to get their subscription to use all their plugins all year long, then get a cashback voucher to buy some of them. Don’t count me on either of them.
2 minutes ago, Sergio said:The F29 IMO is a way better deal than having the cashback because you can choose any plugin you want without having to wait for a sale that include all the interesting ones (as you need to use the cashback all at once). You just have to be patient to get one per month.
The "use all their plugins" option does not interests me because (a) I already have most of them and don't need a subscription for it and (b) I don't like the idea to use a plugin that I do not own in a production. Maybe I'm silly. YMMV.
For my tastebuds ATM, Sergio has the right of it.

I've been signed up. And will remain until they stop introducing nifty new things.
This month I got NEOLD U17.
Next month I plan on getting SBC.After that, my plan is to acquire the 4 Ampeg models ($31 x 4 = $124) as opposed to my discounted price for the three Ampeg models from UAD is $232.
Beyond that, who can say.

Mine was the first reply. I tried to be very judicious about what I references I chose. I was very offended by the post for several reasons. In retrospect I should have just asked for the post to be removed in hopes that it would be gone before anyone else saw it and replied.
Are you aware that you can edit your own posts here up to and including deleting all the previously written text and either leaving the post empty or just type the word delete, removed etc.?

Odd, not one Klon KTR overdrive pedal to be seen. ?
But for sure there is no space for an original Klon Centaur (going price between $5k-$8k).
