Nice heavy tune! Great guitar work and those vocals are powerful.
That is my son on guitar. It's rare that we get to play together.

Great hard rocker! The vocals are amazing.
Thanks for the listen.

I saw all three bands live (at different times) perform those songs, that bitflipper posted in his first two posts.
I too did not see where The Stones cowbell came from on stage when I saw them, but TBH who needs to pay that much attention when seeing The Stones live, 🙂 -

Huart's remarks were interesting!!! It sounds like he wanted it mixed the way he would have mixed it, which is a super subjective criticism. But how cool to be included! I gather you guys submitted it somehow?
I am a lifetime member of Produce Like A Pro, where we have access to a private forum where you can submit it for review. They only randomly pick 10 songs a week and typically there are anywhere from 15 to 25 submissions.
The membership also provides multi-tracks for songs that Warren (or other producers) have recorded with guests artists or sometimes with a young upcoming band. The members can mix those and submit them for review. I've never done that. I've submitted about 7 or 8 songs over the past two years. Only originals.12 hours ago, PhonoBrainer said:.....wanted it mixed the way he would have mixed it, which is a super subjective criticism.
yeah, but isn't that what we all may do here and anywhere else we listen to other members songs submitted for comments?
Since Warren is an accomplished/recognized/pro engineer and producer his (subjective) comments carry at least 1.2 ounces of weight over the *average* bedroom producer (of which I am one 🙂 for sure)-

I may do a remix adding a Neve Console on tracks/buses and/or tape saturation via UAD Fatso as Warren Huart suggested.

Thanks Nigel.
Warren Huart really liked it too (see OP) and the OP is now remixed too based on his input.-

Aaaah. That was fun. Appreciate the musicianship, swell guitar work.
Nice vocal delivery!!! A bit sibilant in the esses, I was listening on decent earbuds. The bass came through nicely.
Your lyrics are wrong? Isn't it "caged animals"?
The chorus sticks.
Well done y'all.
Thanks PB.
Fixed the lyric. -

@Bapu did you use Suno for the song? I agree that AI could be very useful as an idea generator or demo creator.
Yes I did.

So here is an example (I'm not going to use it, BTW) where I fed using my full lyrics and told it to do an 70s or 80s (I don't remember which) Bue Eyed Soul style.
Is it the worst arrangement ever? No. Is it the next big hit arrangement? No. Is it ok as a starting point to turn it into a real song by replacing all musicians with real players? Maybe. Then have a singer do their interpretation of a melody making it their own? Probably. Will I do it? No.

Started with Pro Audio 4 through CbB (skipped SONAR 2 and 4 for some unknown reason), Ditto on Studio One but I will support the new SONAR just because.
Revised: I will not support subscription after Dec 2025. I will revert to Sonar Free level though. It's all I need for my Collaborators. I simply do not work in CbB anymore and SONAR is thus overkill for my needs. I have the ability to covert my older projects to either Reaper or Studio One via excellent fools created by azslow3 (as long as I consolidate tracks first).

Artists rip off others partial riffs, chord progressions and partial melodies, partial lyrics. Have for many years now. A site like suno.com will create something for you based on your (or just a story line, if you will) and your description of the style (hard rock, aggressive male voice etc.), you can even submit a snippet of your music to nudge it along.
What you get back in the form of at least two somewhat different attempts can be used as "writers block" springboard.
Sometimes an AI tool is just a tool (or a cigar 😄).
My two shillings opinion.-

Babu, I recently learned that alembic is the vessel an alchemist uses to break down one metal to make another. I thought that was interesting. This is why they named the company that way... breaking down the component parts and rebuilding it to make gold.
This was mentioned in the book, this is all a dream we dreamed.
Yup and their logo is tre cool too

Just a PSA - not sure if it applies here - but check the largest bundle that applies as you'll have a deeper discount there. I.E. if you need only one library check the Evolution Complete bundle for an upgrade price? I need two (mellow mando and clawhammer banjo) and it would be $62.40 at the 60% level pre-orange slices...
I did bad math. Re-checked and I am picking the largest bundle upgrade. My final price, if max discount is achieved, would be more like $52.

I have it all except Melow Mando.
Signed up.If it hits 60% with my orange slices it should be a ~65$ upgrade for me.

The Fall Of Our KindIntro:
Verse 1:
In the shadows of the city
Concrete meets the sky
A super symphony of progress
Where humanity starts to dieVerse 2:
Neon lights and flashing screens
We’re blinded by the globe
Lost in a digital dream

The fall of our kind
With our new elected we're left behind
All of our kind, we must fall
And we'll leave all that behind
Leave ourselves behind

We were born to be wild
Now we're just caged animals
But the concrete city
Answer to the cold winds cattle call

My upgrade price (from 3) was $99.
I purchased it.
Got an email from support they cancelled the order. They said I did not have 3 (I did and bought it directly from them). I sent them my order number and date of purchase.
They responded that somehow 3 was not registered in my account (that what they checked) but the order was in my order history (ummmm DUH!).
So, they synced up the registrations with the orders and now 3 showed up for them.
Here's the best part, they apologized and registered 4 to my account free of charge.
