  1. Strange, while logged in it lets me go this far:
  2. That link works once you are logged in and gives price of $59.40 .. but then I dont have Waveform 10,11 or 12. I do have 9 and 8 basic + the free waveform 12 and 13. I assume one needs a previous 10, 11, 12 serial to get this upgrade? I went to checkout and it did not ask for a previous serial or any place to fill in such things ... strange
  3. Is this a trend one wonders. With FL Studio Cloud and Cakewalk NEXT you get inbuilt access to gazillions of samples and one shots etc, while with Loopcloud it is an OUTSIDE via plugin integration to access the samples inside your DAW. The interesting extra with FL Studio Cloud is as part of annual sub of $99 you not alone get access to samples but also to a load of 3rd party Plugins with perpetual usage as long as you sub up. It includes DISTROKID sub by default to distribute your music. Of course this is all integrated inside FL Studio, I dont think you can just use these plugins in any other DAW? AND they also supply cloud mastering tools as part of the deal. Of course you can add FL Studio via a plugin inside Cakewalk etc Cakewalk NEXT is starting down a similar road but for the moment just a samples panel on the right integrated inside the DAW. The general sub for Bandlab has the distro facility also I think. The new trend then is to supply lots of integrations - samples, plugins, mastering tools, distro tools etc. Defintely pushing toward the sub model with lots of extra baubles, not just a DAW. FL Studio is the "ultimate" so far with this idea. Is this what Cakewalk / Bandlab is striving toward I wonder? https://www.image-line.com/fl-cloud/ "Get 65+ plugins, unlimited access to loops and one-shots, AI-powered mastering, and distribution, all right inside FL Studio. "
  4. Picked up 4 of these at JRRSHOP - COZY, KANDY, HYPE and EDEN https://www.jrrshop.com/ujam Used the coupon GROUP and got the lot for $27 or €25
  5. Re trialing .. keep in mind WAVEFORM FREE ( based on latest paid ver ) is very usable I think: https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform-free comparison chart: https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform-compare-versions AND - not bad for free I suppose: - Unlimited tracks, clips, folders, & submixes - VST3/VST2/AU/LV2 plugin support
  6. Limited time flash sale! Buy Waveform Pro for $119.40 (normally $199) or upgrade your existing license for only $59.40 (normally $99). 7. As the title says Rebelle 6 - Digital Painting software - $29.99 .. one behind the current release https://graphixly.com/products/rebelle-6
  8. When you go for the freebie, go and sign up a new account at ACDsee .. login and select ACTIVATE. Use the license Key they emailed you. Its now added to your account with an upgrade option. This is Gemstone Photo Editor 12, to upgrade to 14 is $49 instead of $79: https://www.acdsee.com/en/products/gemstone-photo-editor/
  9. I notice on my core i5 with typical Intel graphics card on motherboard that the NEXT GUI has got a tad sluggish and laggy since the most recent update ( I am on the BETA version ) - 1.01.221 Though I know the beta is finished and it maybe the last few days I can use that version of NEXT? As a matter of interest, those paying the sub. Is 1.01.221 the latest version OR have things moved on version wise and not available to us ex-beta people
  10. UPDATE - Still as per above. Beta NEXT latest version still working on my system for free - happy days
  11. $300 offer for me to upgrade from V8 to 10 .... no thanks
  12. Poser is more of a 3D character builder software, not a full fledged 3D app. I have not used it in ages BUT I seem to remember you can export the character models to likes of blender with no issue. Then add them to your scene in blender. So POSER is a specific type of 3D application for character creation
  13. Poser 12 + content for £19.29 https://www.humblebundle.com/software/poser-12-3d-character-design-pack-software
  14. Fair enough. However, I find it unusual that here we have an all NEW DAW where access to it is rather restricted vs getting it out there to increase its popularity. Right now its only people paying membership and beta people that have access to it. Most likely those paying membership will use New Sonar more than NEXT? Just very odd I think, for a new DAW essentially. As it is it feels like its buried already without a chance. Would make sense to me to sell it seperately outside of membership to get it off the ground. Give it a fighting chance
  15. So as the title says - Will NEXT be available as a standalone purchase at some point? I really enjoyed its simplicity with no real clutter during the beta period. Has all you need to create tracks without too much features getting in the way deflecting you from the real biz of creation. Sometimes less toys is good .. helps you focus better on the creativity
  16. Exactly why I really like it. Though stripped down it has all you need .. the lack of clutter and nice open layout lends to better creativity for me anyway without getting lost in loads of features that many never use anyway TBH, inc myself. NEXT is a K.I.S.S DAW .. and nothing wrong with that even for seasoned pros / users in my view
  17. I was on the BETA Program for NEXT. Up to last week or so it was listed in my Cakewalk Product Center .. no longer the case. No wgone. I have that latest version installed still and it is still working, may do so for foreseeable but stuck at this new version perhaps OR it will become unusable. Really like the simplicity of NEXT. I do hope it is offered as a reasonable priced stand alone offering at some point - will buy it
  18. My main thing is i have and can get as good synth VSTis which dont install that much bloat and work even as a single VST file.
  19. It needs HALion Sonic 7.1 installed for X-Stream to work inside it. Total size near 2GB .. no thanks In the steinberg email it says: After launching the Steinberg Download Assistant, open the ‘My product downloads’ heading on the left side, where you will find your X-Stream. Download and install the recommended components (including the free HALion Sonic 7.1), then run X-Stream in HALion Sonic 7.1. That along with FIVE Steinberg Download assistant apps installed on your system
  20. AXXESS Was last FREEBIE recently as part of LOOPCLOUD Sub ( annual loopcloud sub available reduced now at $50 ) AXXESS $39 New freebie on loopcloud is Pultec Passive EQ Collection https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/16-EQ/10183-Pultec-Passive-EQ-Collection
  21. Are the 65+ plugins restricted for use inside FL Studio? Or are they the built in FL STUDIO Plugins that come with the DAW itself as opposed to 3rd party? AND that $100 voucher for 3rd party plugins. Any restrictions there? EDIT - an ans in the FAQ: Are the plugins supported in other DAWs? Opening plugins in alternative DAWs will work, however if there are authorization issues with the plugin related to your FL Cloud subscription (e.g. end of trial, end of subscription, change in FL Cloud plan) there will be no error information displayed unless opening the plugins in FL Studio. This deal annually sounds like a bit of a no brainer. This is the details of the plugins included in the 65+: https://www.image-line.com/fl-cloud/whats-included/#plugins Essentially its likes of Distrokid, Loopcloud, Cloud Storage, 65 plugins rolled into one. Only caveat is it essentially works in Fl studio .. so maybe its a no brainer IF YOU ALREADY OWN FL STUDIO ( I do ) .. But then you also have that FL STUDIO VSTi Plugin that loads FL inside say CAKEWALK. Here it is inside Cakewalk NEXT. The FL Studio VSTi is loaded on a track in NEXT and then inside the FL STUDIO Window inside NEXT an FL STUDIO native synth loaded which is playable/recordable as Midi via midi keyboard on the NEXT track:
  22. Get annual / monthly Loopcloud sub for 50% less .. so about $50 or so ( €54 ). https://www.loopcloud.com/cloud/subscriptions/plans use coupon JUNE50 This includes all the Loopcloud plugins that work inside likes of Cakewalk, no problem. If you were to rarely use Loopcloud samples themselves its almost worth 50 bucks because through the year they give away FREE 6 or 7 or more Decent PLUGINS from third partys which add up to way more that the 50 bucks. Most people thing of samples as uneditable loops, but the loopcloud app on your system has a built in DAW with 8 tracks where you can mix match loop parts with EFX and lots of other tools while auditioning live in Cakewalk project. Other loopcloud plugins like Drum, Sound and play add lots more originality. Loopcloud is not just LOOPS its also single hits like full drumkit part hits and the like. Add to that vocal oohs and ahhs and the like which are editable and could be used as BVs in a project Yes I am a fan
  23. Fair enough @satya .. but as I said in OP this list here its not just adding free vsts, its adding them having used them previously or currently and willing to stand over them
  24. @craigb Above I said - A while back the keyboard player and myself compiled a list of FREE vst instruments and efx for other band members so we would all sing from same hymn sheet with the cross platform thing. Can post that here when I find it .. well, I found it. I posted our list over at a new thread on DEALS
