So when I get Syntronik 2 would it be best and cleaner to just uninstall Syntronik deluxe and do fresh install of Syntronik 2 ???? -

Are the versions of the original synths in Syntronik deluxe the same as the originals in Syntronik 2? As in if I buy, no need to reinstall the original ones? -

I have Syntronik Deluxe - with jam pts I can drop the price to €29 .. is it worth going for Syntronik 2?? I think its 12 more synths on top of whats in Syntronik deluxe? -
Much thanks for the info and for the compliment .. been at it for LONG time .. since the 80s band wise. Always original mainly. Working away on new material at the mo .. slowly .. with all the old gang/same muso's but doing it virtually/cloud .. eg me in Ireland, drummer in Rhode Island - www.colourtide.com I also have other guitar instrument plugins from Indiginus - Renegade and Torch. And already having the original session guitarist sunburst I can upgr to deluxe for €49

Thanks @PavlovsCat .. I am a guitarist, so you might wonder WHY would I need a guitar instrument plugin? First out just because ... and to learn one. Main reason though is to have a decent enough alt guitar instrument for trying ideas when on my laptop and not in my music room. And also I reckon one could use it as a reverse ideas machine where one might come up with something you might never think of on guitar

Hi Guys Anyone here making good use of Guitar Instrument plugins like NI Session Guitarist Electric Sunburst? Its tough enough to find decent tutorials paid or other wise on these. I did find one on Groove3 but tbh it was more a showcase course than proper prpject based how to. https://www.groove3.com/tutorials/Session-Guitarist-ELECTRICS-Explained spends more time on the vintage instrument and sunburst deluxe In general I have found tutes on guitar instruments pretty poor across the board

The suspense is killing me.....
aidan o driscoll replied to Skyline_UK's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Note with respect to NEXT it will need minimum a processor with 8-core CPU https://www.cakewalk.com/next So i think systems will need Core i7 / Ryzen 7 to use CAKEWALK NEXT? I imagine that cuts down the userbase numbers, many who would use older systems? I didnt bother signing up for the beta access because of that - All my systems are Core i5 -

@bitflipper "Yeh, over the coming month the next step is going direct to the PA for guitar, bass and drums - no amps other than monitors. " Beat you to it .. we had a small covers band from 2001 to 2010 and did exactly this. Really simplifies things and can fit in smaller venues. Plus allows better control of volumes.
-
@bitflipper I know this may seem highly unsacred & ye play classic rock .. But rather than cancel gigs could ye get the current guitarist to record lines as backing tracks that might get ye over the transition period and keep playing those gigs? I say this as a guitarist who has played for years as a 3 piece with backing tracks inc likes of killers etc ( BTs were for the drums, keys - Live guitar, bass and vox ). Crowd had no issues, BTs were top quality ( by ourselves ) so very good sound. Interestingly it got us into smaller venues and as a smaller unit got individually paid more

Well then .. who would have thought Barbie v Oppenheimer: dolls trump nukes as blockbusters hit screens https://www.theguardian.com/film/2023/jul/22/barbie-oppenheimer-greta-gerwig-christopher-nolan-atom-bomb-dolls -
https://www.vox.com/culture/23789864/barbenheimer-barbieheimer-barbie-oppenheimer-release-memes-double-feature So which one is it for you - Greta Gerwig’s Barbie OR Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer .. or BOTH "Forced" to go to one of them perhaps .. the Kids ..

BTW I am not saying economies are going bad or recessions and job losses on the way. It just seems everything has gotten way dearer of late so now i am noticing less disposable income .. maybe this is due to peoples wages NOT rising enough along with cost of living. So before i would just buy stuff without much consideration but now I have to justify and am cutting back
-
This is NOT to spoil Larry and the deals section AT ALL. Or to stop anyone from buying. Just getting a feel for things financial I am just relaying a personal thing .. I have not bought any new plugins, software or new systems since pre pandemic years ( only buy was recent for full disclosure - €25 for a bundle including Samplitude Pro X5 from fanatical ). REASON - here in Ireland and same for rest of Europe I would say ( not sure of US ), its the large energy cost hikes, huge Cost of Living hikes leaving less or no disposable income - its really noticeable .. even more so than that crash back in 08 I am just wondering has this affected purchase decisions of others here in the last recent while? Do ye find there is alot less cash to go around in recent times? As an aside i notice with my IT clients that they are not buying new as much. I am doing alot more SSD and RAM upgrades to existing core i3 i5 etc systems
