Here are 3 paragraphs that should scare you: Ahead of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s four days in exile, several staff researchers sent the board of directors a letter warning of a powerful artificial intelligence discovery that they said could threaten humanity, two people familiar with the matter told Reuters. .. a letter about the AI breakthrough called Q* (pronounced Q-Star), precipitated the board's actions. The maker of ChatGPT had made progress on Q*, which some internally believe could be a breakthrough in the startup's search for superintelligence, also known as artificial general intelligence (AGI), one of the people told Reuters. OpenAI defines AGI as AI systems that are smarter than humans. I know we all have made jokes about AI and likes of dystopian Terminator type future, but this is no joke. How far have we gone with this thing even now? How much do we not know? What if this gets into the wrong hands .. what if it is already in the wrong hands? This is very serious

@MrFigg Do you already have either Select or LE version of the M-TRON in your account products? If not, then thats the issue. Maybe you have Select / LE already but did not register the serial with Gforce yet? ( you can do that at your account )

Yip - Too be honest its more about the music than lyric for me. Having a good verse chord sequence but looking then for an AI tool to suggest a Chorus chord sequence that lifts a track. More for ideas that you yourself might not think of

Rather than bitching about AI destroying music .. Just wondering has anyone come across some nice AI tools that would assist with writers block or where you could feed a verse chord sequence into it and it would spit out a few options for chorus chords and so on? Aidan

In reaper one has the ability to right click on a midi track or an audio track with EFX and to create a duplicate stem track while it mutes the original in the process, all within the project. I dont think CW has this ability from a right click menu? Yes it has freeze the track which is a different thing So I can see 2 ways as a workaround: 1. Duplicate the original track and them FREEZE the 2nd one 2. Select the original track, go to File, Export - create the wav version of the orig track, then drag drop the resultant wav back into the project in its own track Is this it? Any other ideas? Yip - To date I think, nothing has come close to HalfLife game universe, in my view anyway. Its got something very unique about it, the atmosphere etc. I would really love if NETFLIX or other streamer picked up an option to actually make a series or a movie out of it. I would say it would attract a big audience

I have V Collection 8 and also have SQ80v. The augmented stuff doesnt interest me, I also found them system hogs, so for $99 upgrade I would get KORG MS-20 V + a few of the existing instruments upgraded. Its a hold off for me anyway I also have FX Collection 2 and can upgrade to 4 for $69 .. seems it has 4 new additions https://support.arturia.com/hc/en-us/articles/9023960780700-What-s-new-in-FX-Collection-4- Again I dont think so However for €87 I can upgrade my ableton 11 to the new v12 .. so most likely thats the choice I will make

I have Live 11 Standard so my upgrade to 12 standard is €87 ( €109 )

Also remember if you have a version of reason, even reason intro 11 and the like you would have got the REASON RACK PLUGIN, so you can use Reason plugins inc this inside Cakewalk and any other DAW

And they can be a cpu hog, i think, for one reason in certain presets - when it has this MAX VOICES option or similar and its dialed up: Otherwise I find there vsts quiet good and dont take up too much resources inside projects vs other vsts like say Arturia
