  1. This looks to be a very useful tool and I like that your creative decisions can be used easily/musically in the process. I think I'm getting it (going to watch a few more vids).

    Thanks Larry. :)

Just quickly ran through the presets and most are instantly recognizable. I have only tried it with my default guitar (USA Tele) which sounds surprisingly good considering how unique Mr May's guitar is. It will also be interesting to try out all of the included BM effects pedals and use the presets on a version of Fat B G that I'm working on.

Excellent ZT!! I've never tried to get his tone(s) as he uses so many effects, but do like all his work. Always liked Fat B G....oh yeah, the song too. :D

You definitely have to post your version!!!

  3. Daryl my boy, this is another very catchy track and (again) such a clear/clean mix. Had me humming this for sometime as it was stuck in my head (in a good way ;)).

It's about time to put all these tracks in an album mate.....very good stuff indeed!!

I need to ask you a VERY serious question (maybe it's not that serious to you, but...): Is the difference like night and day? Are u REALLY EXTREMELY happy with it?
Like "omg, I will never part ways with it"? How long have you been playing guitar? I ask all of these questions to see if I pull the trigger on it.

    Hi Carlos,

What I've noticed when using the Axe is I have much more tone control (before using an amp sim) than when using the usual audio interfaces (which are thin sounding). The Axe was "fuller" in tone and once you put it through an amp sim, it was 'almost" like playing through a real amp. So yeah, I'm EXTREMELY happy with it.

Of course, there are much better products out there (i.e. Fractal Audio's Axe Fx, Kemper etc..), but at a heavy cost. If I had the money, I'd get the Fractal' Axe FX ;) .  I've been playing guitar for about 30 years and still suck at it, but I truly love playing the guitar.

Best is to go to a music store and check it out before buying....your ears will be the final judge.

I might be tempted to switch interfaces.

For guitar and bass players, I can highly recommend IK's Axe I/O. I've had it for a few months and extremely pleased with it. It was always a struggle to get a nice 'phat' tone with my Focusrite 2i4 and now, it's a pleasure to play my guitar through the DAW.

  6. Really well performed and mixed track here HS. I also agree with Tom's drum suggestion, but doesn't take anything away from this radio ready track....pro quality!! :)

I'm always happy to see companies that continue to improve drivers for older products.

I was disappointed for some time with their 'no support' on 1st generation devices.

This is good news though....now I can use my 2i4 again. :)
