esoul, as I am won't to call you. This song kicks donkey but when you're based in left field, it's slim pickin's. I'm a lefty too, handed that is (also known as a Southpaw), they let me go like that, in kindergarten, but all the scissors were for righties, so I still struggle knowing the right from the left. thanks for the affirmative nod

https://soundclick.com/r/s8bj8n i was going to call this Peter's lament, but I cut my finger sharpening a knife. Legit question, what is prog?

As an average listener, I would say it is a successful experiment. I see that you are the type that is meticulous about your craft. You are a seeker, see and ye shall find.

very well done Peter! Inspiring! Some great guitar work. You are talented my friend. Dang, I am left with nothing else to say. Welcome back, you and your music have been sorely missed.

Peter! welcome back. I can remember the day you said you were stepping out for bit. I have been well. I hope you have been well too. Hello Mark, it is a crazy bit of happenstance isn't it. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hey SPAK, accept my apologies if I sounded like I hate praise, I'm not that jaded. What I meant was this was the least spontaneous thing I have done in a long time. I figured everything out before I printed it. That is all, I usually just let it fly, but this was like looking through a microscope. I respect your opinion, and all the critiques of the people who take the time to listen, This is the final mix Thanks to all for the suggestions, I couldn't have done it without you. Peace https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandID=1389225

Happy New Year, Just found a 77 Fender Twin on the cheap, I have read up a bit on it, so I know all the complaints about UL and Master Volume pot, but it was cheap. I had it checked by a tech and just the speaker issue, which only real reveals itself when I plug a bass in to it, or push gently on the cone (I hear the scratch), don't really notice it with my guitar plugged in. Anyway, it has Gauss Speakers in it. They look like this https://reverb.com/item/121611-fender-gauss-pair-ps-12-70-s-fender-orange-twin-reverb One of them is either blown or the voice coil has come off center, My questions are 1. Is it worth repairing the speaker? 2. Should I just replace the speaker? 3. Should I replace both speakers? 4. If repair, where? 5. If replace, with what? 8th Street Music is having a 20% off sale and I could get a pretty good deal on some Celestians, or I could go look around for a used cabinet with speakers. Anybody care to add their two cents? The amp is 125 watts, weighs close to that in pounds, can blow down the walls of Jericho when turned up, but it is mine and I love it. Thanks

There you go! The variety of music on this song forum is amazing. Thanks for that, I am listening closely so I can pick up some ideas for using the tools I have.

jeepers, excellent effort. I just wish the vocals were a tad louder in the mix.

Jesse Screed replied to Larry Graham Alexander's topic in Songs
Hello Larry, I always admire your music. I must admit though, I thought I was listening to a pipe organ. It was all very musical, and your skills at midi are to be lauded. I am a rank amateur who couldn't find my way around the PRV if my life depended on it, so take my comments for what they're worth. -
Opinions please about an offhand remark

very interesting, is there a chance to post the lyrics? I had a hard time hearing them. Obviously you spent a considerable amount of time on this, excellent effort. I do love horses, but am confused on how that fit in with the rest of the video. That was a fine horse though.

Wook, when you say M1, is that Ensoniq? anyway, I knew a guy that had one. I really loved that bass sound, and the ending was awesome!
-
very nice, loved the guitar of course the cello was great, but for me the guitar was better. the only nit I have is that the snare, or tabla, or whatever, was a bit too repetitive. but still, the mix was great an the tune as a whole was inspiring, gives me something to shoot for

Bob, you have a style all your own. I like the big sound on the drums. your guitar is always very right there, very nice tones. If I would change anything I would bring that solo in sooner you are a six string monster!
